diesel K140F
I sent this e-mail to Berry and called as well asking for some help I have received no response So I will post it hear if any one has any diesel 140K settings. Thanks George
Hi Berry, I am running my 140 on diesel and have changed a few settings. When I start it the diesel will ignite fine then start to add diesel and around 1/4 of the way through the ramp I get about a 1 foot long flame then it ramps up fine. I have tried auto 1 and 2 and see no difference. I have the pump pw at ignition set to 022 and the min flow at 21%. What do I need to change to get rid of the flame. It is not bad a little more that my kero start JetCats. Thanks George

I have this same turbine and plan on running desiel as well once I get it running I can help, but KC on here has helped another guy whos running desiel at our club. It sounds like the switch over is to rich, when you start before the switch over is fuel coming out the rear before the switch over?

there are several things that control the ramp and '1/4 of the way' isn't really all that informative at to where in the ramp it's giving you the flame. could be you need to tweak the starter RPM but without knowing exactly where and what it's doing it's just a guessing game. is there a pause in temp rise? lag in RPM?

Sorry George and anybody else that I missed to respond timely, had a bad flu last week and over the weekend[&o] today, I'm finally feeling
I would suggest you dial down Ignition pump pw anywhere 16 to 21, I think you will have an improvement already
What is your preheat fuel set at? I think we might be able to lean it down a bit too.

H.ow did you go with this, I'm considering using diesel in a k80 but it needs to be flawless in every way before I'll run it in the sky.
Anyone had any long term use with diesel??

Kero start with the ew xicoy ecus as it just got repaired and new accessories were sent out.
It used to have a 1" flame for a couple seconds but this new ecu has sorted that all out. New settings work a treat.
I got some 3s a123 batts different capacitys depending on how much weight I need but do you just use regular diesal from a pump at a gas station?
