Default K140G Flameout error after shut down

My 140G gives an Flameout error after shutting down/ giving the Trim low command
The engine shuts down normally and goes in normal cooling down procedure but after being cooled down it gives the Flameout error in the GSU
Engine will not start up any more after this error. Got to shut the whole system down (Rx Tx) and when switched on again it will start up again normally….

Anyone any suggestions??

Rergards,

Ed

It will say "flameout" whenever a cycle ends correctly (you shut down the engine) and then you try to start it again.
This prevents accidentally restarting the engine (not sure how that would be a problem though) and requires cycling the power to the ECU.

If you look in the menu and see why it flamed out you will see a message that the user shut it down and it was not some other error.

Thanks for the reply's

ok, then it's normal, and indeed i saw in the the message "user shut down" in the menu.

It is an bit funny though in my opinion but any way, after recycling the whole lot it fire's up no problem.

Problem solved i guess

Thanks!!

I am having the same issue with my 140G and what bothers me is 2 things
1- if i raise the throttle stick , it should engage the starter motor to help with cooling , and this doesnt happen ( it used to before )
2 - not sure why , but my idle rmp is at 36000 , but the parameters on the GSU it is 33000 , so why wont the motor go down to 33,000
i checked , by relearning radio , but still wont go to 33000
if i reduce the trim ( below what was learnt as idle ) it will go down , but i am scared that suddenly it will think that i want to cut the engione

any comments ?

Sorry for the late reaction.

I pull pull throttle backwards (and trim), so don't push the stick forwards.
Xicoy and Futaba have an issue on this one cause i get an error constantly when trying to learn ECU

I'm holding my transmitter upside down now to solve the problem
