Please focus only on our issue between you and me, I can't speak for the other, here is the true of your phone call to me yesterday.

Dear Barry,

This email is to hopefully work out a reasonable settlement between you and I for the repair of my K80G turbine engine, which was shipped to you by your Dealer, Dreamworks, from Florida on 4/26/2015

This is my recollection our phone conversation on May 6, 2015 at 3:23 PM

You called me, on the date and time stated above, to explain how Kingtech operates their business, and the reason for why my turbine did not get repaired in a timely manner. You originally said is due to lack of parts in stock. At the time, I did acknowledge and understand your explanation for the delay and felt it was reasonable. However, during our last phone conversation I could clearly sense in your tone that you were very upset. You yelled at me over the phone and accused me of "...going around to buy parts from DreamWorks...," and that I "...purchased and acquired a couple turbines from Jet Hangar." This accusation was absolutely unfounded and untrue. Because of what you accused me of --which again is absolutely untrue--you unjustly and unfairly decided to terminate all dealings with me and refused to service to my turbine engine, which you were under contract to service. I strongly disagree with the way you handled the situation, how you terminated our working relationship, and how unfairly you treated me as a customer. As a friendly gesture, I even asked you again to finish the repair of my turbine and even offered to pay for the parts and labor myself. But, you refused and suggested that I should completely drop the Kingtech product and go with different brand. I didn't want to go with a different brand and wanted to amiably work out the situation with you. However, you left me with no choice so I told you that "I have no problems doing that (changing to a different brand)." Again, I only said that because I was forced to and*you gave me no other option.

Now, in order for me to stop using my Kingtech turbine engine and go with different brand, I request that you agree to one of the two options below. I believe that this is reasonable and fair.

1) Kingtech complete the repair of my turbine and return it in good running condition, in the timely manner.

Or

2) Kingtech will buy back my turbine at market value, so I can buy another turbine from a different brand.

Please let me know of your decision within five working days to avoid any legal action.

Thank you,

Anthony Hoang

Anthony, I really don't know where you think you would end up with this here on this thread that has no relevance to the issue, however, I have no choice but to respond. Your recollection of the phone is flawed big time, as I did not have a chance to convey since you wouldn't stop talking, and the intent of my phone call failed completely, since all I tried to do was to sort things out with you, ie. no more deceits or misunderstandings, but you quickly became upset because you were caught red handed and relentlessly expressing the rights you have as a consumer. So here are the emails concerning to the ECU you sent in:

Dear Anthony:

Please understand we are operating turbine engines that are running at extreme temperatures and RPMs, great care and attention must be given operating such equipment and there is no room for deceit. You have decided and commanded us to return your engine, and we diligently complied and already shipped the engine back to you at our expense. We really cannot go back and forth like you and your friend have always been. We no longer have the desire nor obligation in serving you as we did not cause the damage to your equipment.

Most importantly, after realizing the dishonest disclosure of the damages we rather yield the service then risking the safety of our staff.

If you so decide to continue your RC Jet experience, please work closely and honestly with your turbine manufactures.

Hi Barry,
please try not to side track our issue, obviously you are talking about different issue, first you mentioned the problem you created with friend of mine, I told you I can't talk about that it's between you and him, now you brought back the problem with ECU that no longer relevant and not the issue since it has been resolved and closed a long time ago. Let's focus on the K80G that Dreamworks one of your dealer sent to you and requested for service, after you terminate the Dealer contract with Dreamworks and because I chose to sent my turbine to Dreamworks for service during the time of conflict, now you hand picked me for your retaliation, this is how you conduct your Kingtech business in USA. All I want to say is Kingtech has a good products but too bad that they chose a wrong individual to represent their company.

Hi Vera,
I forwarded you an email from Linda at Dreamworks, she was shipping my K80 ser#1150 with ECU and pump to you for repair, you should received on the Monday 4-27-2015, when you done with the repair please email, text or call me at Xxxxxxxx and I'll come and pick it up from you do not ship since I'm local.
Tracking UPS 1ZA4W2163973752695.

Thank you

We have flawlessly worked with Dreamworks on engine services before and during our parting and has nothing to do with your engine.

The said ECU is still here and its number concur to the engine DreamWorks sent in, #1150. We cease dealings with you not because of DreamWorks, but your deceptions and dishonesty. The factory supports our position 110% that is to terminate all service and dealings with you, good luck!

The below pictures were the ECU that Vera received from Anthony who claims no tampering and expected to be warranty repaired. We just don't trust this person to do work for anymore.

Your engine has already been delivered per your demand, at our expense.

what happened to that ECU??? Barry says water damage, did you drill it through a lake? Holy crap that's messed up!

Clearly not a warranty job and the guys a d**k for claiming so but, I don't understand your stance Barry. Just give him a quote on fixing it, whatever that may be , and it he agrees, have him pay up front and do the repair.

Barry what are you try to fool by miss leading and confuse the viewers? this is the one I'm having issue with you not the one you post in this thread.
I just got it back today, this is the exact condition of the turbine, ECU, fuel pump was send to Barry from Dreamworks. This is the one he refuse to repair and service. If you read all the emai exchange between me, Kingtech and Dreamworks during this time did you find any where in those emails I asked Barry to repair my ECU?

Sure you bought a new ECU from Todd, but obviously KT doesn't want to touch your engine anymore and for good reasons, you'll become nothing but liability to KingTech and the entire RC community. I applaud KingTech headquarters decision, stand your ground Team KT!

This customer purchased a new king tech engine, correct? The Xicoy labels are affixed with very lightweight adhesive and while the pics do suggest that this ECU looks to have been touched by moisture, I think it is pretty brazen and possibly even legally wrong for you to close the door on this person all based on what you think he might have done. Your warranty, terms and conditions are published throughout. I have not read the fine print but I doubt your legal folks added any verbiage to the terms to permit the casual dismissal of the basic provision of this contract which is a lifetime warranty. On one hand you have a product that appears rock sold with a lifetime warranty but that is only so long as you watch what you say to the guy in charge.

You really ought to do whatever you need to do in order to resolve this issue peacefully and never in an open forum.

Are you blind gracco? Hard evidence in KT's hands, this Anthony guy started posting in multiple threads not Barry, don't think Barry and his team has the desire nor obligation to resolve.

GOOD GRIEF BAT BOY!

I just bought a new(two hour)/old(purchased 4 months ago) KT 180 from a friend. Upon first glance at the title and beginning of this thread I thought "oh crap!" Then I read the whole thing while recalling a note I received from Barry when inquiring about service just before making the purchase.

Firstly, I would have looked at this thing and wondered if I could get any money at the scrap yard for it. Secondly, I would have sent it in with a note very politely asking if it had any trade-in value. That's it. I, as well as most that are experienced with turbines, would know that that thing was trash after you wrecked it, according to the pics.

I would have been very glad to have been offered a discount and would have taken a new one on the spot. If I were a manufacturer, there would be no way that I would sell parts to anyone for self repair, no matter who it might be. You see, there is this "liability" thing. My fault, it's on me. Your fault, it costs me a boat load of money and my reputation.

I would never sell any parts to anyone who is supposed to know the English language, yet cannot spell, cannot punctuate, and has no handle on grammar. I would not let them even get close to a two stroke glow.

You need to sit back and think about it Fiddle, just apologize for jumping off the cliff and blaming someone else for trying to take care of you, accept the discount, get a new engine, learn how to fly without trashing your plane and blaming the battery. You know, like the people in Baltimore do.

………just say'n……...

Default K80g

As you can see all the emails he posted was dated back in Feb, 2014. The issue with ECU no longer relevant at this time , this is completely new issue that just happen on May 7th,2015 (I have no issue with ECU, the issue that I try to resolve is my K80G is Not running the way it suppose to runs) if you can read the email from Dreamworks you will have a better understanding "Do not listen to what Barry says, watch what Barry do".

Default Barry

Barry also returned these documents with K80G yesterday, I would like to confirm that the ECU has been reprogrammed by Dreamworks for $10.00 extra plus $195.00 for the ECU. I don't understand why Barry would charge $50.00 for inspection of a brand new ECU????. I did accepted his quote, why he sent it back without fixing it?.
Clearly he retaliate me for buy The ECU from Dreamworks.

We endorse Dreamworks assessment that the burner is bad, but what else? Perhaps the front board? What about the rotor components? We don't know, and we don't work on mystery engines, especially all the drama that will follow with this guy. Too much uncertainty and unpleasantry with this man caused. We exercise our rights to cease service to this man.

Anthony, you demanded to have your engine shipped back, and it is done.

Barry

Below receipt was sent from Anthony for the damaged ECU, it shows Feb. 3, 2015, not 2014.

also if you take your car into the dealership do they not charge you a inspection fee upfront? if under warranty then no charge for inspection but if not covered you pay.
