Telemetry?
Hi All,
My Dad was nice enough to buy me a new K45 for Xmas, and I was getting ready to stuff it into my Firebird for testing. AND, this one came with the new ECU. (Very nice) So, the other day, I sent Gaspar an email to ask about the Jeti telemetry adaptor, and he told me this wasn't one of his ECU's.
SO...........
Is there a telemetry adaptor coming out from Kingtech?
Gaspar said he would work on it... but he didn't have an ECU to test it on.

Congrats on your 45 Tony, we are working on a single module telemetry, but don't have an answer as to why it's taking so long...., meanwhile, we thank Gaspar for willing to work with us, if necessary, we'll surely be in touch.
Regards,
Barry

Absolutely.... I hate some of the crap I've been seeing lately. It's just what I'm using. I was just agreeing with you that it doesn't do much for you while flying... other than, maybe, a low voltage alarm. I was just saying, the telemetry helps with the "After" issues.

Telemetry I use "while in the air":
low fuel alarm
low battery alarm
weak signal alarm
low air pressure alarm/failsafe
flameout alarm
airspeed (will use on next plane)
From the ECU you should get the fuel and the flameout alerts but other parameters like RPM, EGT and pump volt. are nice for startup without the need for a GSU.

Hi guys,
Saw some photo's on KingTech's FB page yesterday. Showing a unit with GSU/ECU connection on one side and JR/Jeti/Futaba/Graupner/Spectrum connection on the other side, but no further details. Anyone know any more about this?

...but has anybody used one yet?
I am extremely anxious to get one of these, but I would like to get some user input first. Can anyone using one please give us some feedback on it's performance. I am mainly interested to find out how it handles fuel remaining. Personally I use Futaba, so it will be a real plus if Futaba users could chime in here.
Cheers,
Jan

Hi Guys,
You can find the Telemetry Module and our New Smoke pump on KingTech's website and on Pacific RC Jets website under turbine accessories. The cost of the Telemetry unit is $70.00 plus shipping.
Cheers,
Dirk

Got my Telemetry unit today. No instructions but they are not needed. I plugged in the 2 leads one to ecu one to my sensor port on my receiver and then added all the telemetry sensors to my screen and it worked. the Fuel consumption is on the f-pack capacity sensor. I'm sure it will have to be calibrated.
