Best bet at this point would be to call barry. He has access to hidden parameters in the ECU that might need to be fine tuned...

you can fix problems before fuel ramp with adjusting preheat fuel percent. But sounds like your problem is after switch over during the fuel ramp stage.

well I have lowered to auto+1 and the thing gone bad, the fuel ramp takes longer time flaming ... i have detroyed the pipe haha, I will install another one, the plane is a mini avanti, the pipe i have now is without bell mouth it has only a lip, im goin to put the turbine at 2.5cm / 3cm from the lip to the turbine tail cone, i think this is a good gap. the pipe that was destroyed was with bell mouth.
im goin to put all parameters per manual, with that config the start was fast but the fuel was too much during pre heat and try again on the bench.
i think that the problem was the gap with the first pipe, it sis possible that if it has no good gap the turbine may flame a lot during fuel ramp?

If preheat fuel was too much all you needed to do was lower preheat fuel not touch any other settings.

the pre heat its ok, no flaming, only flames are in the fuel ramp, yellow a long flames during too many seconds and high temp readings, then the engine runs fine..

On the other hand you can ask your self if the flames does any harm? Better flames and a start then too little juice and a wet start if configured too lean?! Where I assume weather, elevation and diesel brand might be dependent too.

the flames has taken down the pipe, detroyed, so there are too much, longer yellow orange flames, i live at 196 m over the sea, its summer here with 32 celsius.. using diesel from Shell and mobil oil for turbine, i think i need some advise for the hidden parameters to lean the fuel ramp maybe?

Its a holiday weekend and they are on the west coast. I'd have some patience in waiting on Barry, its not even 8am there.

If it was me, I would just send it in for Dirk to re-adjust it......obviously something is way out of adjustment.

I don't know the k-45 specifically, but it seems to me that the engine is having trouble accelerating from about 17k through the 20k rpm barrier. It becomes too rich around then and starts shooting flames. If it was my engine I'd adjust the settings concerning the starter motor to power it up a little. Fuel delivery seems correct, maybe too little during preheat making it needlessly long
