Default New K-85G starter stopped working

I tried to start my brand new K-85G for the first time.

The starter motor engaged and the RPM's only went up to 15,000 rpm. The starter sounded a bit weird... and the turbine did not start nor light up.

Upon subsequent tries the starter motor does not work at all. Running the starter test from the GSU also fails to spin the turbine.

The GSU shows no problems with voltage. 10v on the ECU and 5.7 (regulated) on the RX connection.

Did I get a bad starter?

Thanks.

With RX voltage showing 5.7V, beleive you should be reading "low batt" on your GSU. please advise if this is correct?

No that is incorrect. 5.7 volts is perfectly acceptable receiver voltage. There is no low voltage message nor should there be,

I have a PowerBox Sensor Switch regulating the voltage to the electronics.

The ECU voltage is also nominal at 10v on a new LiFe Pack.

The starter motor stopped working after the first attempt to start the turbine, and now does not even turn on when tested via the GSU;s test screens.

In case anyone is interested; Kingtech (thanks guys!) sent me a new motor which cured the starter problem.

I still noticed that the GSU flickered, which made me uncomfortable with this setup so I switched to a 7.4 Sensor switch.
That eliminated the flickering, but had nothing to do with the bad starter.
