Need profile kit plans
I want to build a profile fun fly plane this winter. I'm an old stick build guy so I don't want an arf. I'd be happy with plans to build the .40 size plane from scratch. I've searched and found a couple articials which that are a couple years old. Just wondering if there are any new styles which have developed lately. What are you guys using now/ Any pictures?

New designs?? Today I was flying with a fellow that brought out two of the profile Hots and I forgot how much fun they are to fly, I'm still flying the Mid West Hots myself. Plans you can locate in the AMA plans section, Model Airplane News plans and RC Modeler plans are still in operation.

For a profile that size the Tower Fun 51 kit is a decent investment. Here is the third in my series, scaled up plans built. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9951311/tm.htm
I also have a plans built and a highly modified sized up twin version as well. Last in this series for me though.

Why not look at swanyshouse.com or wrongwayrc.com
I know wrongwayrc does some profiles but am not sure of what kits he has exactly.
Swany has the various mojo, primo etc as kits
Saves time cutting from scratch but still gives the satisfaction of a good build.

Save yourself the trouble and build one of the kits mentioned above. If you want to settle for second best, then go ahead with your previous plan to scratchbuild some other profile. Paul has done his homework and you will not be disapointed in any of his designs, plus, they have the modern construction techniques that will withstand stupid dorks, so much so that you will shake your head at times and wonder why a plane should shrug off such abuse.

Find the profile site whose name must not be mentioned and search for Sbach3D 45 size.
Very nice plans and a great flying aircraft.
