Hello all,

Does anyone know what plane this is?

I've had it for about 6 months and i'm currently rebuilding it.
According to the previous owner, it had been sitting on its nose for about 3 years and it's the only one of it's size in aus.
It has afiberglassfuse and straight wings.

Some people have said it looks like an old yak, others have said it looks like a corbie starlet. I believe it's close to a super sportster.
I've shown this plane to my local hobby shops and clubs, yet people are still not too sure as to what it is.I've spent hours researching the net to no avail, so this is basically my last hope.

Length: 1500mm
Wingspan: 2100mm (one piece) >.<
Current power plant:SupertigreS2000 (25cc, inverted)
Scale: 40% (unsure)

I'm planing to install a DLE-55 later down the track and open a new thread to show you all my progress.

Anyone have any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey Krayzc-RCU,

Yeah It does look pretty similar, I think it's the closest match so far.

It's really driving me nutts, I need a set of plans, but can't startlooking if I dunno what plane it is. Ohh the joys of modeling.

2 months without building anything... I might have togo buya kit in the mean time to keep my sanity!

i am suprised some of the builders have not chimmed in yet it also has the chipmounk look. I am big on the caps, yaks and those birds so i am sure some of the flyers of this type would quickly know this bird.....have u also posted on other forums sites?

I thought I had it until I compared a photo, not even in the same zip code!!! I spotted a Lovings Love Racer in an old magazine but the love has way different tail feathers and a gull wing. I saw that fuse and canopy and thought I had it, my wrong!!!

It does look like it belongs to that family of birds, i'm also a big fan of those. I've also thought about posting on other forums but havn't got around to it yet.

lol, I've done that a few times,that Love Racer looks pretty nice, I wouldn't mind one of those in large scale,thanks for sharing.

If only I could some how get the attention of the master builders. >.<
