Well the slug has decided to order his glass lol[img][/img]

I was planning on putting in an order to where Tony buys all his CF from, prices seem pretty good..
Was going to just get a 5yd roll, but for 7 bucks more I can get a 10yd roll.. http://www.acpsales.com/.73-oz.-Fabric-38-Wide.html

Gary,
I also need to order my chart tape, do you have a link to what you used so I can get it ordered up.. Any chance you remember how many rolls you used?

Just to let everyone know, nobody has to worry about stepping on my toes, posting suggestions, or who this thread belongs to. This thread is here for anyone that wants to give advise or take advise, past, present and future builders alike. My main goal is for everyone to have input and ideas and take from everyone's knowledge and use it to their advantage. There are already too many threads here on RCU where the OP thinks that they are gods gift to building or assembling an ARF, I don't want this to be like that, and the only thing that will get me bent is for someone that acts like that here in OUR thread.

Jimbo, I bought my Chartpak Tape off of Amazon. I got 3 rolls and still have a little left over.

Yep, Good luck with painting Yates, look forward to seeing it.

I had a conversation with Jimbo yesterday, and we were talking about how a few guys have added wheels to the fuse for transport. I had been thinking of doing something like that, and Jimbo motivated me to put something together today.

This is what I came up with, and I didn't even have to drive to Home Depot, BIG PLUS!

Your wheels are to small. I have some 4"-5" and 6" tundra tires you can use. I will bring them Saturday!

Yeah, should make it a LOT easier, and hopefully cut down on the hanger rash.

No big deal Tony, These wheels should be fine for what it's intended use is. Not like I'm going to taxi around on them.

Gary,

A belated congratulations on your maiden! Sorry I'm late, I just finished catching-up on the last month and a half of postings.

Looks like it flies very stable. All worth the effort.

Cheers!

Thanks EJ, if the weather is good for the weekend, I will be taking her up for the 3rd flight over at Bomber Field. I'm looking forward to it, they have a great facility over there.

Yates,
looking real good, glad to see someone is getting some work done... Love to here more about how your going about the rivets and detail, even if this is your first time doing it, your results look great and you could pass on some tips to us.. I never done them with the glue and like the look.......

Thanks Jimbo, got some painting done this morning, I'm using canopy glue and started with the rivet stencil but went to freehand as it was quicker and didn't
seep under the tape after several applications, eye's got crossed after a few short lines so I had to chill every few minutes
