Anyone build kits for money?
Hey gang,
I'm looking for someone to build me a Clancy Stagger Bee and will pay them money for it. If you know anyone who does this, please give me there # or email address so I can get in touch with them. Thanks!

Scott Plummer, http://rc_builder.tripod.com is currently building a Sig Astro Hog for me.
He has been emailing photos as he goes and it is looking really good so far.
I'm having him build it 'ready to fly'; I sent the kit, engine, radio, covering, and the majority of the accessories. He told me will get the things I did not send and I'll pay his cost.

To follow up: I met Scott Plummer at a fun fly in Shreveport on Sept 20, and picked up my completed Astro Hog. He received my stuff on August 18 and had it built 'ready to fly' in a month. The plane looks really good. I think it needs a little more fuelproofing in the open cockpit area, and I think I'll try to install an antenna tube (I hate them hanging outside), which I forgot to ask Scott to do.
I hope to get one of our insructors to test fly it this weekend.

Scott Plummer started out great for me. Communicated all the time, sent photos, etc. Then he went to Tyler, TX to take care of his mother and completely blew me off for months. I had to get the Monroe, LA Police involved to track him down and respond. And did he respond!!! He sent my two planes, terribly packaged. Both are unflyable and destroyed. I called and emailed him to resolve the issues and he has never responded. That was over 6 weeks ago. Lesson learned.
I would generally speak against sending hundreds of dollars of equipment to someone you don't know, but since I first connected with Scott, I have met some really decent builders whom I would be willing to try in the future.

For another Scott Plummer story, see the thread: Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!! Now I know I'm not the only one. Hopefully something can be done about this guy!!!!!
