Default Sig Shipping kits again??

I want to start loading up on Sig kits incase they leave for good, so i was wondering if its safe to order. Last timeI ordered a kit, there was a long wait, thanI ended up canceling the order because they couldn't give me a time for shipping, so is it safe to order them?

Thanks

Jason

They are no longer listing stuff as out of stock but I can see where you may have trust issues.  Used to be they provided primo service.

Call them maybe?

PS: I have a NIB 4 Star 60 kit. Plan to let it go for $155.00 factory price plus $12.00 for UPS. (Same as factory.)

Perfectly good kit. I have some hand weakness from a childhood brain injury that has worsened so have switched to ARFs.

This one IS in stock.

PM me if anyone interested.

I would call them on the phone and ask if a kit was in stock before ordering. It takes a few minutes, on a weekday, but you get the answer first hand rather than internet speculation.

I think the new owners are trying to keep the company alive!

Now that Sig seems to have gotten it's house back in order, let's see if Great Planes / Tower picks the line back up......

No, Tower never owned Sig. They dropped them because Sig couldn't deliver back in the day.

From just my recent experience with SIG, their website is effective and efficient, no need to utilize a 'middle-man' like Tower.  If they continue to 'deliver' as they did for me this week, they will do just fine.(and save some $ without giving a little profit margin to resellers)

My SIG Citabria arrived on-time and well packaged.

Who Cares!!!! The real KITS are coming back....in a big way!!!!! There is way too many BARF's on the market as it is, we need more builders bak in the hobby!!

Seriously though, there is one Sig ARF that I and a few others would really like to see come back, and that is the LT-40 ARF. I have 2 guys at work right now that want to learn to fly R/C, but they don't want to build. (I have tried to convince them to build, but they want to learn to fly first) Out of all the ARF trainers available right now, there really isn't any that fly as nice as an LT-40, and thats what I would really like to be able to teach them on next summer.

If you Sig guys are out there reading this, do bring back the LT-40 ARF soon....please.....for beginners everywhere
