I wrestling with a Ziroli P47 (the smaller one) from a short kit I got from a guy here. Considering the amount of work involved in this thing and my rate of assembly, put me down for the same project next winter as well.

RE: Watcha Buildin'?
I finished my first build, a CG Tiger 60, about a week ago. It's been maidened and flies beautifully with my Fox .50 up front. Next up is a CG Super Chipmunk to house my Saito .80. After that I'll either start gathering materials for a Lou Andrews Aeromaster or see if I can sweet talk my way into a glider, maybe a Dynaflite Bird of Time or a Sig Riser 100.
Here's a pic of my Tiger 60:

RE: Watcha Buildin'?
I started a vintage Orline Sopwith Pup for the "winter", if you'd call it such herein Florida. I picked this kit up on Craigslist for an extremely good deal. I also started a build thread over on RCG http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1550008. The instructions were not included in this kit so Iam Simply building from plans and "bashing" when I feel it is needed. Iplan to doafew scale details including the cockpit area.

I have a twin turbine ME262 I have to get going on. Just picked up a new book, Monographs 3D Edition #46 from Kagero with great drawings of the 262. This Polish publisher puts out some really nice books. Their drawings could be used for a really nice model and good supporting documentation. Also still doing research for a super scale F4U-1A. There's also a chance I might start work on full scale ailerons for a Corsair or two.

Hi Tom what's up on the Airmaster build? don
Hi Tom what's up on the Airmaster build? don
Hi Don. I've slowed down, on the Airmaster, but she's nearly ready to cover. Both wings are built. The tail section is mounted. I've been working on control surface hinges, and making up the linkages. She still needs a few stringers added to the fuselage. After that, all she requires is a good, final sanding. Then I'll be able to do the covering.
Thanks for asking.

You guys are terrible!!!!!!!!!!! Going through this thread all I see is aircraft that should be in a showroom someplace and I can't even work on mine due to too many other projects at the moment. Anyway, my projects for this winter, AFTER I get several hydroplanes ready to go for next season, start with a modified Kadet JR with a stretched wing, barn door ailerons(the directions don't include ailerons so this should be interesting) and floats, followed by a Goldberg Electra with updated electronics if I have time. IF, by some miracle I get all of that done, I have plans for several 50cc planes including a 68" Pitts 12M along with 70"+Katana, 300 Extra and Edge. Heck that may keep me busy for several years[X(]

RE: Watcha Buildin'?
I am just finishing my first kit, an old Ace 4-40. Bought it from a local guy and the box and plans had water damage , some of the wood was warped.
So here is the question, who is making the best kits now? Good fit , good plans and instruction, WHO?

I just finished an Ace 4-60 a few months ago, and I just bought an Ace 4-40 kit last week.
Sig produces some great kits, with very good instructions. Great Planes is pretty good, too.
You're doing a nice job on your 4-40 !
