Default Bud Nosen 1/4 Cub instructions?

Just wondering if anybody has the instructions for the Bud Nosen 1/4 scale cub? I just received the kit with the plans, but I don't see any instructions. I know they aren't much, but poking around the internet, apparently there are usually 3 pages of written instructions for the Bud Nosen kits? Thanks in advance!

Hi Lins,
I have the same kit that I built the frame 30 yrs ago and finished it last year but without any plans or instructions. Had 4 flights from it until the wing strut brokeduring the last flight and kaboom.. I still have it and will rebuild itthis winter.
I had a OS Gemini FS 120 four stroke engine, sweet sound but underpowered.

I would very much appreciate it if I can get a copy of the full sizeplans for what ever it costs to copy and mail them to St John, In 46373, USA as this will help make the rebuild easie.

By the way where did u find such a kit?
Rafeek.

Hi Rafeeki, I'll see what I can do. The plans are VERY delicate being so old, and I'll see if I can find someone who won't make an issue of copying the plans. I found the kit for sale on the RC Universe market. Any idea why the strut broke? Poor design? Remind me in a couple weeks about the plans.

By the time I got to attaching the struts to the wings I was thinking of a practical way to allow them to fold for easy transport; so I used small brass hinges that i purchasd from the hardwre store. They eventually pulled apart at the hinge point and kabooom.

Now, I have on my latest 1/6 scale Cub Robert pin hinges which are very strong. I might possibly use the same detail on my rebuild. What do the Bud Nosen plans show for that detail?

Hey Rafeeki, if you have some usable pictures I would appreciate them, thanks!

I'll look at the plans to see what they show for pins.
