Need landing gear for my GP Super Sportster 60
I'm building the Great Planes Super Sportster 60 from a kit. I'm planing on putting the landing gear on the fuselage just in front of the wing. The problem is finding the right gear for it. I've found three possible gear to use. They are listed below. Which do you think would be the better one to use or if you know of a better one please let me know?

This one seems to be a generic replacement gear but the width of the aluminum seems too wide at 3 5/8"

This one looks nice from the Escapade 60 but would it be too stiff or too tall?

I also like this one but worried it might not be strong enough.

The Dubro molded gear http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXNM65&P=0 is what my brother used.

I'll second the post by Carrelth. I've been using them for planes from 40 size sticks up to 4*60's and a GP Super Aeromaster. They are tough and they spring right back after a hard landing. I've used the 60 size U-Can- Do wheel pants and modified the axel end to fit the grovef in the wheel pants. They will take paint very nicely.

I saw that gear before. The only thing i don't like about it is the shape. I perfer a straight gear as opposed to a curved one. Any others out there someone can recommend. I'm leaning towards the Escapade gear.

The Goldberg gear http://www3.omnimodels.com/cgi-bin/w...I=GPMQ1822&P=0 is a molded gear that is flat. Not as tall as the Dubro.

Funny how peoples tastes are different, I like the looks of the gear Carrs brother used but have never tried them that I recall. I have several sets of the other gear Carr is showing you. It works great.
I do a lot of plans building so I have to do a lot of parts searching. I take the fuse measurement then look at ARFs. If I see something I like I call and ask the measurements, height and width. If they fit cool. If not the next set is just a call away. That works on cowls and canopies too. The landing gear on my new build is from a Wile Hare Extra but fits my Sukhoi just fine.
