They look like CAD drawings, does anyone cut a short kit for it?

Just don't leave the can in the sun too long, it will ruin its ability to spray!

Guys, I just acquired a BUSA third scale cub very nicely framed up and ready for detailing out and covering! It has a brandy new US Engines 41 mounted. I think it will give it very nice scale flight speed. I'll see if I can make it look nice. So many other projects! Getting older with less time left and still collecting future projects! Has anyone out there grown out of that stage? Whew! You think one would learn! The only side effect from the model airplane hobby is 'terminal airplane brain'!
If you have one, OR MORE, you still want ONE OR MORE! He who dies with Mose certainly doesn't win, he leaves behind a pissed off wife that has to deal with a bunch of guys trying to cheat her out of what was left behind!
oh well, defication definitely occurs!
later, bird.

Aint that the truth! I have an engine from a wrecked plane I don't plan to rebuild, so guess what, I need another plane. I have some engines that were given to me, now I need more planes to put them on. It's a never ending problem. Going to educate the wife on what they are all worth so that when I drop dead she wont get scammed.

My friend Tim is just finishing up his Papoose Cub. He just added the yellow stripe on the fuselage. Even without the stripe the two are almost indistinguishable. The real one resides in the Western Antique Airplane and Automobile Museum just outside Portland, OR.

The bones of the plane is a H9 1/4 Cub, powered with a Saito R33 Radial (Perfect Match!)

I finished my 1/4 BUSA Cub.

Engine issues have prevented a maiden. I believe the problems are solved, but catching a good flying day, this late in the year, will be difficult. The maiden will wait until Spring.

Thanks, guys. It was a fun build.

In the future, I'd like to build the 1/3 scale version.

Somme day I should finish my 1/5th SIG. I tried to make it a Biper, but will need way too much nose weight to balance, so patching the under cabin and making it a scale Cub instead. I have to make new struts though since the ones I have now start mid fuse instead of from the bottom.

Did you stagger the lower wing back or line them up? I am thinking I have seen a Cub bipe where the lower wing sat behind the upper wing to help with the balance.

The lower wing was forward, was emulating a Staggerwing. Moving the lower wing rearward was out as there isn't enough fuse to do that.
