Great flight, Andreas. Love the sound of that engine. Let all the muffler people go up to Iceland.
Heard it's real quiet up there. Airplane engines should sound like airplane engines. Nothing wrong
with your landing. You should see mine. lol Great video, thanks for sharing.

Hello, Brothers,

My first post and announcement ! Ordered Great Planes 90" Piper Cub kit from Tower and it (she) will be here in Idaho Friday. Thinking of going electric and covering with dress lining since not necessary to fuel proof. I have built stick kits but always sold or traded them for junk I didn't need. This one I hope to make a keeper. Would like to join brotherhood and be a part of the Cub Club and have folks to share the build.
Thanks for noticing me,

Roof

Did get work space ready and am finding tools and stuff from boxes I haven't looked for in several years. Thats where it all begins!! like the set up ... the beauty is you could easily add on to that and it gives a warp free surface.

Re-building a 1/3 BUSA J-3. Going to strip and re-cover with new Solartex over the winter, but want to get it up in the air yet this fall. New Fiberglass Specialties cowl. DA-50 in the nose. Align 610 digital titanium servos.

Hi, am refinishing my Sig 1/4 Cub and wonder if anyone knows of formed plastic side and windshield windows for it. I have some Hanger 9 windows, but they do not fit. I have considered making a fixture and vacuum forming some, but hoped someone else has already done it? Thanks

Thanks, but if it the same as was in the kit it is just flat butyrate sheet plastic. I am looking for some side windows that will fit in the opening but be flush with the outside surfaces. Vacuum forming is not hard to do but is time consuming to lay out the patterns. Thanks again.

I've done this for my Taylor J-2 Cub and other airplanes. I don't have patterns for the 1/4 SIG Cub but would pull them for you if I did.
