You want more up than down. Down aileron causes drag that yaws the fuselage to the outside of the turn & causes the tail to drop. Drag induced by up aileron will be less & any yaw will be in the direction of the turn.

You can build in some mechanical differential by setting up your neutral point in the servo up to 45° forward of perpendicular to the aileron's bottom surface..

My transmitter (Hitec Aurora9) has differential aileron setup and I will check how did I make my setup.
Hangar 9 recommends

Aileron:
5/8 in—up; 1/2 in—down

Elevator:
7/8 in—up/down

Rudder:
1 ½ in—left/right

Scale ailerons do not correct this problem (have them on my cub).

You have to put a little rudder and elevator to compensate, or to mix it with ailerons.

I know my L-4 with scale ailerons require far less rudder then my J3 without scale ailerons.

Who is up for shirts. Just something I threw together.
If we go just back, looking at about $12.50 each. If we do front and back we are looking at $16.50 each.
IF we do front and back, we can add your brother # to the shirt for an extra charge.
Shipping my guess would be $2 to $3 by us mail.
Need 20 min to order, the more that order will drop the price a little.
first thoughts and suggestion on changes, lets get the design locked in before I start taking preorders.
Size from Youth thru XXXL
We can add # for $2.50 and name for $4.50
Should I add RC Universe to the bottom of the back?

If you are starting up a list put me in for 2 shirts in XL. See if we get enough for an order. Shipping will be more for me as I am in Canada. Probably around 20 bucks.

I'd be interested only if the 'regular' Piper Cub logo could be used. I realize that might not be possible due to copyright laws, etc.

I like the mulit colored one. Brown bear holding a red sign that says cub in white lettering. I have
also seen them with a black bear.

I don't think that copyright is problem because that logo is not in use any more. Piper corporation have new logo
and this printing will not affect them. I have printed this shirts for myself long ago. Second one is from book
"HOW TO FLY a PIPER CUB" published in 1945. by PIPER AIRCRAFT CORPORATION,

On 20 shirts, to do the 4 color logo on the back will make the shirts $20. And this is on a Hanes Beefy T

Can I get a closer look at the back of the second t-shirt? I can't make out the instructions!
