I don't think that copyright is problem because that logo is not in use any more. Piper corporation have new logo
and this printing will not affect them. I have printed this shirts for myself long ago. Second one is from book
"HOW TO FLY a PIPER CUB" published in 1945. by PIPER AIRCRAFT CORPORATION,

Also on the shipping is based upon the weight given to me by the shirt comp. For out of US shipping will be more, I think i have the shipping setup for you. Let me know if you have any issues.

Got back to working on my Cub yesterday. Almost done with the finish on it. Sure is a large learning curve to putting on fabric and dope. Still have at least one coat of white left to do on the wing bottoms, then spray everything with clear to seal it all. I have a Saito 100 sticking out the side, but it would devastate the cowl, so considering rotating it 90* to point down instead. The door is nearly done too, finished the fabric yesterday, just need the sealer coats of nitrate, then sand and color coat and it can be attached. Then I can finish the radio install, put the windows in and it is done.

Just an idea, if inverting your four cycle engine. Try to position it so that the exhaust valve is the lowest part of the engine. That way excess fuel will drain trough the valve and not accumulate in the engine while it is not running. Love the Saito 100. Also have a 56, a 120abc, a 130t, and a 180. Sincerely, Richard

Ok, here's what I got off a set out of the box... He let me assemble the parts I needed to get the measurements... its as accurate as I can get, not compensating for any slop in the holes... maybe + - 1/32"
***EDIT***
Look at the file names closely, they describe the point to point where the measurement was taken.

Well, so bad that I live in Europe.
Hi quality shirts with color print, front and back, cost about 7,5$.
One color front and back is about 5.5$.
I can see what postage costs are, but maybe price will come the same at the end.

It's ~76" span. I modified it from an old Goldberg kit. I used the styrene cowl to pull a glass one. It has pull-pull rudder and internal elevator drive. The clam shell door is functional which is how I access the on-off switch. It has scale rib spacing and other small details. It is covered in Koverall and sprayed with dope, including the 'N' numbers and stripes down the fuselage. It flies very nice (elev. ~800 ft) with an OS 40 four stroke swinging a 10-6 prop. Go to thread page 52 for some early photos and see a few more on post #2633 and 2774. I could have sworn I had some pics of it assembled but couldn't find 'em!

One of the Guys from DA is putting one of those Gaui F-50 50cc 4 strokes in that same Sports Cub you have... should be interesting to see how it performs with that power plant turning a 20-10 prop.

Well, here are some pics of my recently acquired Fabric covered H9 1/4 J3 showing the wing joiner system, the landing gear, and the tailgear. I have not seen these layouts before, so can anyone identify how old this is? Can anyone say whether the current windscreen will fit this plane? Does anyone need any dimensions or more detail of this particular J3?
The measurements for the H9 1/4 PA18 Super Cub fuselage width at the windscreen is, 6 11/16" across at the top of those cabin blocks... and about 7" down where the forward windshield stays meet at the fuselage.... the width of the actual fuselage at the bottom where the landing gear mounts is 6 7/16".

I have one or two questions on cubs (not the baseball ones) I have a 1/4 size clipped wing cub and I have thought I'd like to do a build of the J3P model and use my Saito 170 R3. So the first question is are there any 3 views around of the J3P Cub. The second Question is has any one out there made the same aircraft.

Nice looking sports cub Super08... I thought you said it was the 1/3'd version, or is that a different project?

I had my 170R3 on a clipped wing a few years ago. It ended up too heavy and too close to the firewall to look correct. The Lenepe was a small engine. I had better luck with a Saito 50 and two dummy cylinders on a Goldberg Cub. The One flying J-3P lives in Maryland, I ma be able to get some photos if that would help.
