Hello folks, can I get into your brotherhood? I have a Carl Goldberg Anniversary Cub ready to fly, just needs a radio installed. I also have a BUSA 1/4 scale Cub NIB from the 80s. That will be my project for late summer to next winter. I already have most of the stuff I need for it, I just need to get a new building table put together to handle that large of a bird.
Thanks Jay

I have three Cubs and love flying them. Could I join the brotherhood too?

I don't post alot, and don't have a lot of pics in my gallery. But, in my gallery is my Grandson and sig 1/4 scale! One of my best memories ever. Still making more.

My son wants a 1/4 scale cub ARF. He does not want to build one right now. I see the Hangar 9 one is no longer available. What other one would be good?

Well if he had gone to Toledo, there was quite a few RTF Cubs, including a fantastic 1/3 scale one. Lots of different variants of Cubs for sale there, some complete with servos and engine, just add RX.

I have been using no-scripts I think it killed any chance of me getting notifications from the site. It's a pain but I miss a lot of advertising this way.

Hey... this place is still.... here.

2212930[/IMG]

I just picked up a couple of these on sale for the 80" H9 Piper Pawnee I've had in the garage to rebuild the tailfeathers on for over a year... but part of me wants to put the spare one on my 72" CMP Cub. Will swing a 15x6 prop on 4S; could probably prophang with the Cub if I were any kind of pilot.

Hi guys. I have not gone through the entire "Cub Brotherhood" thread yet but was wandering if there is anyone that has built the 1/6 SIG Cub and used the Eflite Super Cub 25e landing gear on it???
I am busy with SIG 1/6 scale Cub but doing the same L4 conversion that has previously been done on the 1/4 scale one so there is a lot of scratch build work as far as cockpit etc. goes, meaning I MUST have a scale working landing gear.

Don't know bout the Sig, but they fit the Goldberg Cub just right. I measured
the fuse where they go and it is 4 &3/4 inches. Hope this helps.

Thanks Cubcrasher, I did some measuring and they will work, Eflite Super Cub is 103 wide and SIG 114 but the landing gear is 120 wide hinge centre to centre, won't be 100% scale but is definitely gonna look the part.

Hey Tom,
Do you put any sitx-it down before you iron on the solartex or do you
just go at it?

Solartex has an adhesive already applied. Being old school, I prefer a little added insurance, so I spray on a coat on Aqua Net hair spray for peace of mind..

That stuff is expensive! I should probably get my second Cub finished, it was the one I attempted to make a Bipe out of that failed due to not enough nose weight. Just making it a normal Cub now by covering the bottom wing mounts, and making a new set of struts. tried to repair the cowl, but the resin never set, so had to buy a new one.
