I'll bite , count me in.

I'm building a 1/3 Scale Cub right now that I sell the kit for in 1/3 scale. I'm welding up the cab frame/wing bracing that goes into the cabin. I'm using 4130 aircraft steel tubing, it may be overkill but it's already done. These are available for our kit along with the 1/3 scale cub landing gear for the Bob Nieltz plan that we've kitted.

I also have a sig 1/4 scale clipped wing cub w/ OS i60 twin in it that I am covering right now.

My Carl Goldberg Anniversary Cub, with an OS 48 Surpass. I bought this in a "lot" of old airplanes. The engine was frozen up solid, airframe was beaten up pretty good and just a little bit crooked.

I restored it to flying condition, patched up the covering, got the engine running and rebuilt it (new bearings, cleaned the gunk out of the cylinder head, etc). It has over 200 flights on it now!

There's just something addicting about a Cub.

25 year old (maybe older) 110" BUSA 1/4 scale Cub on scratch built floats with an 1980's era OS 120 twin rocker four stroke. I'm the third owner and it's still going strong. It's a single cylinder but looks like a twin because of the scratch built dummy engine head on the right side built by the previous owner.

Land flying and float flying videos available at RCU videos and on YouTube.

14 year old Hangar 9 Cub, 80" span with Saito 56. One of my first planes to fly and crash and repair. Recently added Great Planes kit floats built by my father.

Float float flying video available on YouTube.

Sig Cub built by my father maybe 15-20 years ago. Has a Saito 50 four stroke and needs to have a radio system upgrade and put back in the air.

Thanks Robert, I was just getting ready to do that at lunch time. My site has slowed a little in the past few years, I guess that is what I get for chasing after a young lady. I'm working on plans for scale looking ailerons that can be added to the 1/4 scale balsa USA and Sig cubs. Hope to have them done soon and ready. Also working on a set of plans for a 1/3 scale super cub with flaps, along with some rework for the 1/4 scale L-4 plans. I will have to charge a little for the plans but still want to offer them at a cheap price. Sorry for this but my web hosting space is no-longer free.

Hey Cub Man, not divert from the purpose of this thread, but what will be different about your 1/3 super cub plans? I'm interested, thanks.

I know a lot of plans are already out. I have looked at some that are not scale. I'm drawing mine up from full scale plans I have access to. A few years ago I was a CAD drafter, and I still like playing around with CAD.

I would like to build a seriously scaled out L-4. Let me know when your plans are ready. Or anounce it on your site.

Will do. the L-4 has a lot of cleanups to do on it. I have thought of building another one and do a construction build on it, then sale it off.
