Servos in tail of SS60. Where?
I'm wanting to install the servos in the tail of my Super Sportster 60 i'm building. Not sure if i should put them right in front of former #6 or right behind former #5 or somewhere in between. the further back spot i may have to stagger the servos to make them clear each other.
Whats you're thoughts on it.

The GP Super Sportster build tail heavy. At least mine did. I would think that adding servos to the rear of the airframe would make the problem worse.

I am aware of that problem. I will be using a built up hoz. stab and vert. stab to help lighten the load. Mine was warped like macaroni. Also am using a ST .75 up front. Hoping the weight differences will cancel each other out.
Don't want to still come out tail heavy. What do you think?

The last two, that I built, had extended noses, and oversized motors. I don't know about your motor, but mine were just heavy enough to balance, with the servos in the stock location.

Ok, i've decided to go ahead, at everyones recomendation to put the servos in the stock location, above the wing. i don't want to have to add a half a pound of extra weight in the nose just because i put 5 oz. of servos in the tail. It is said to be a great flying machine so why mess with it.
