Under "S"?
Here is the listing:
SWEET STIK 54†MIDWEST KIT PLAN $19 12201 X X
You probably just need to know that "12201" number to order them.

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
I thought I would tag along on this thread. I recently came upon a Midwest Super Sweet Stik 60 kit and it also was missing the plans. Anyone got a set?

You can order the Sweet Stick plans from the AMA plans service. That's probably the easiest, cheapest way to get them.
Not sure about the "Super"? But, it's probably there as well.

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
Does anyone have the templates for the Midwest Stik 40? I crashed mine last weekend. I have the plans, but I lost my templates I made. I was able to salvage the wing, but the fuse went in nose hard and was damaged beyond repair. I tried to save the sections to copy, but it broke up bad. A PDF wouls be fine. I figured someone must have them. Thanks KC

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
If you have the plans you should be good. Make a copy you can cut up, or trace the fuse sides. It is just a box, so measure the top and side views to get the formers. Where there is triangle stock cut the corners off. I scratch built my last two Sweet Stick 40's that way. I only needed a couple of tracings, wing ribs, fuse sides, and tail shape. I will measure out the formers and mail them to you if you like.
Good luck.

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
I bought a set of patterns, but it looks like there are two versions of the sweet stik. My plans are dated 1984. There are no real instructions on this plan. Does anyone have a PDF of another sweet stik plan? The patterns I bought look to be pre1984. Nor sure.

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
I have a set of plans in post#14 which must be later than 1984. I build one in 1977, the ailerons were scalloped (i think) and used two bell cranks for the ailerons. The plans in post#14 use torque rods.

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
I had the bellcranks - which went bad and totaled the aircraft. I used what was left to build an Ugly Stick - with the scallops! (And TWO aileron servos)

RE: MidWest Sweet-Stick Plans
I was dredging google for sweet stik plans and found this thread.
Let me give a big THANK YOU to Jim!!
Most of the links I found on google were so out dated that I didnt notice that this one was recent. Well I got a bit excited when I downloaded the plans and didnt even read the whole thread.
I came back today to read the thread and see if there was any more info. I built my Stick around 77 or 78 and I thought there was a couple of sheets of instructions. Its been long enough that I dont remeber if it had scalloped surfaces so I'm not sure of the version of the one I built.
I lost mine on the first flight and have always wanted another one.
