Default Balsa USA 33% Fly babies

Here are my 33% Balsa USA Fly Babies. Each is powered by a Zenoah G-38 and they're covered in SolarTex.

Each weigh about 22 pounds and they fly great!

Awesome job!

Do you think a 3W 48 twin would be too much for the bipe?

Probably not, but it will stick out the cowl a very small amount. Not small enough to fit inside but not large enough to look correct for cylinders.

Power-wise, it should work fine.

Dick

Outstanding! I also read your thread in scalebuilders com and will check out your article in the Spring
High Flight.

And I also miss your columns in the old RC Reports but look forward to them in High Flight.

Great looking planes.... I would love to have one in a smaller version like a 60 size. Is there anyone who makes a kit along those lines??
