Default What green is this?

All,

I am getting ready to cover my 4 Star soon so I have hit the mental block that I always get when trying to figure out what color scheme.

Can anyone identify what transparent green this is in the attached picture? I kind of like it and was thinking of doing something similar.

I am hoping it is UltraCote but the transparent green I see on websites looks darker. I like the green apple that Ultracote has but I don't think it is transparent.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I am hoping the picture is attached. I haven't done this before.

i'm pretty sure precision aerobatics uses ultrakote for their covering and it does look like the apple green. it's not transparent, it's the sun light shining through the covering and the shadows of the structure you're seeing through it. most other lighter colors will do the same thing, as they're not very opaque. i would be careful with the neon colors. i haven't tried ultrakote a lot, but the monokote neons have a bad tendancy to bleed away from the film leaving poor results. just my experience. i do like the colors though. just never good luck with them.

Here's a couple of pics of a Kadet Senior covered in Ultracote transparent green, yellow and silver.

the transparent is definitely cooler looking for seeing the framing underneath it.

Seamus, every time i see your kadet, i want to build one. thanks. maybe someday. really nice though. it just screams nostalgia at me for some reason.

Just for comparison sake for you, here is Monokote transparent green on a Kadet Seniorita. It is a darker shade of green than the Ultracote, but it really looks great in the sun. The other thing to keep in mind though, is the transparent monokote is really hard to work with lately, and I have read that the green is the worst of the bunch.
