Nose covered and cowl fitted. So far so good. I think about an inch need's to come off the cowl.
The first is the profile and the second shows the mark's for trimming. I think the innermost mark.

Hi acerc, where do you get that magnet board?. I've been built on Lind's magnet board for some time . Now I'm going to bigger scale and these magnet boards getting too small for new projects(I just started on my Ikon N'west Pilatus Porter couple days ago). I would appreciated if you can tell me where to get it.
Thanks.
Joe.

Welcome Joe. The steel top is from the local sheetmetal shop. Around 40 buck's cut to size. Galvanized. The magnet's came from here http://www.magnetsource.com/. Just type CA41L in the search box. To purchase one has to call them. They cost around 50cent's a piece depending on how many one buy's I have around twoo hundred.
There just is not a better way to build.

The aileron's and flap's turned out nicely. The rotation pins and blind nut's are in. All that's left on the wing'sis sanding, top sheeting, sanding, and servo install.

Thank's David. If you can afford to send it, I'll do it!

Spent the day at the field, flying and mowing. Last thing last night I noticed I made a mistake on the ail/ flap. They called for a 1/4" leading edge. Because of the hinge mods I had to go thicker, 1/2". I did not account for this and they are to big. Tomorrow trimming those down will be first on the agenda. Will take 1/8" from the top therefore shortening them. Have tomorrow to build so hopefully will get a lot done.

The first pic is the ail with a spare rib taped to the end. The leading edge shoulb be behind that rib. The second pic is, left ail untouched/ right ail after trimming an 1/8 off the top.

Got the ailerons pretty much done but that was it. Had to prep a couple planes and go to an event. Have tomorrow as a full build day. We will see.
