Default Top Flight Stinson SR9

I have a Stinson SR9 that I built and is in need of a engine. I'm considering getting
a Saito 325 5 cylinder radial for it. Originally I was going to use , and have , a OS 1.60 4 stroke
but this plane is painted and I don't believe it has the power to get the job done.

Any opinions on the TF SR9 and the Saito 325 5 cyl radial combo.

Regards,
Roby

The Saito would be awesome! A friend of mine flies his with an O.S. 1.60 4 stoke twin, i have a U.S. .41 in mine both fly fine.

[8D]The OS 1.60 Gemini fits and flies this aircraft perfectly. I built one years ago and used the Gemini to power it.

Yes, both my friend and me painted our Stinson's.
Edit: By the way, paint does add weight but if done correctly it is minimal. A plane such as this Stinson should weigh no more than one additional pound over a film covered plane.

Thanks guys. I think I'll reconsider using the 1.60 4 stroke. Tonight if I get a chance
I'll weigh mine just to see how heavy , (or light) it really is.

Roby
