This is not the best picture, but of the final resting place for my first Tiger, I am still not sure what happened to it.

Count me in JR, I have a red and white 60 and the orange and white 120, they fly as if on rails. Here is the 120 with a C&H Ignition equipped High Compression Saito 1.50, I haven't flown this combo yet.

Here's a pic of my Tiger 60 taken the day after I finished building it. I have since replaced the Fox .50 in the pic with a Saito .80:
The covering is Hangar 9 Ultracote in Deep Blue and Bright Yellow. I'm glad I put the white numbers on the top of he wing, those and the yellow really pop in the sun and make keeping track easy.

What engine do you have in the 120 ARF?
I have one NIB and am not sure what eninge to use. With it being so large, gas would be my #1 choice.
Also wondering just how acrobatic it is...

Mine isn't assembled yet, but I'm having a great time running through the engines I have on hand and figuring out which one would be best. However, I have flown quite a few Tigers and Tiger 2's over the years and I am very familiar with the design.
I just got my cataracts taken care of and was looking forward to flying when it cooled down a bit this fall. Woke up this morning and two fingers on my left hand had turned blue. Oh well. No one gets out of life alive.

Ah, the idea of being autorotated on the 1/4 hour appeals to me, but it might negatively affect my flying style.
The old expression of "Growing old ain't for sissies" turns out to be absolutely true. Fortunately, life toughens us up as we age, so no one gets old without being tough enough.
The Goldberg Tigers that I have flown (never a 1.20 size) all flew remarkably like the Falcon 56 models that I flew in the late sixties and early seventies. I've always wanted to build a kit forty or sixty Tiger and incorporate the built-up horizontal stab of the Falcons. They always had a little better handling around neutral elevator.

Ed glad you took my comment the right way. I thought about it later and it didn't seem as playful as i had intended.
Did you ever have a goldberg skylark. It had the airfoiled elevator and was a real dream to fly. fast and friendly. when you touched it would slam on the brakes too.

count me in to, I have a senior falcon that i still fly. Crashed a sky tiger that I bought off a guy. It looked like it went through a war zone, monocoat falling off and a barbie doll for a pilot. Barbie let go of the wheel, plane crashed. I just bought a tiger 2 last week, got the tail feathers done, now i'm working on the wing.

I will be starting on a Tiger 60 this fall, What modifications have others done?
On my 40 size Tiger 2 , I clipped the wing, and removed some dihedral, and it flew like a pattern plane. It needed more rudder and elevator to my liking, so the 60 will get a modified tail.
Attached is a picture of my Tiger 2, I had a bad hangar accident, Imight try to get it back in the air too.

Exercise For Seniors
Just came across this exercise suggested for seniors to build muscle strength in the arms and shoulders. It seems easy, so we're passing it on. The article suggested doing it three days a week.
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5 lb. potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides, then hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, then relax.
Each day, you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10 lb. potato sacks. Then 50 lb. potato sacks and, eventually, try to get to where you can lift a 100 lb. potato sack in each and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks; but be careful ...
