Got a lucky break on my Tiger. Accidentally left the RX switch on last time I flew and when I went to recharge, noted that 3 out of 4 nicad cells had shorted out. Thought I had replaced the pack last year but it is from 2008. Six years a bit long for as many charge and discharge cycles I have given it. Time for a new pack!

I am finishing up the Tiger 2 I built over the winter. I put a Futaba 3010 servo on the rudder/nose gear. The nose gear assembly seems to be binding though, servo buzzes when the rudder is activated. Anybody have an issue like this with their tiger?

Almost finished with the build of the Tiger 90. Just a few more details and then it is ready to cover. It is starting to look like an airplane, and really looking forward to flying my first Tiger.

lonestoner you should be able to angle the motor on the mounts to match up with the plans. That is what I did and the plane flies great. I have an evo 10cc in mine.

Another new Tiger is finished and ready for breaking in the Magnum 90FS engine. This one is one-of-a-kind size wise. Specs: 76" span. 13.5 cord. 14.6 oz/sq. wing loading. Should be a great flier. More photos on the build thread.

Build is in the scratch build thread.
Size is just under the 120 Tiger sizes. I had a new Magnum 90 FS I bought new when it was on sale years ago, but never used it, so this is a Tiger 90 sized to fit that engine.

So far I have no complaints with the evo 10 cc. It idles great and has more than enough power to pull the plane around the sky. fuel economy is great compared to my 55ax.

First flight of another Tiger proved a wonderful experience of these smooth flying aircraft. Full report is on my Tiger build thread.

Mjet, Finally got a look at those photos and the Tiger looks great! Nice to see someone using local stock to scratch build a Tiger. It is rainy season here too but a bigger problem has been the high winds the last two weeks. Hoping to fly tomorrow but will have to see. BTW, that ASP 52 should work great. My ASP 46 ate a bearing ball separator a while back and I just put in a new bearing. Half a gallon through the engine and it is running fine.
