how about a 2018 tiger contest. Thailazer to judge? finish or refinish in 2018. best looking one is the winner. also best bash mod category?

Anyone think this is cool?

jkr 1100 Is this contest going to apply to planes built before 2018, if so I'm in, sounds interesting.

I was thinking start and finish if it is a new build or before and after pics for a rebuild starting in 2018.

the reason I say this is I have a junk tiger 2 that I was going to rebuild. Let me know what you want to do.

Trifecta

1. build in 2018
2. rebuild in 2018
3. build of all time

all categories include bash as a consideration (modification)

Agreed?

Default Build or rebuild

I am in for the build and rebuild!
Have a tiger 60 that's going to get finished for spring, just picked up a well used tiger 120, and still in the box a Jr tiger.
Is 6 tigers to many?

Would Skytigers count? I have a .40 kit, and am interested in either scratchbuilding, or having a .20 size cut.

I think they should count. they are the predecessor to the modern tiger/tiger 60 are they not.

BTW if anyone comes across a tiger 120 I would be interested.

The original Tiger had a short tail, and to me,was an Eagle with the wing placed under the fuselage. I had both the Tiger and Tiger 2 and found the Tiger a much more fun plane to fly when I took the dihedral out of the wing.

Default Need Tiger 2 Plans Badly!!

Hey folks, getting back in to the hobby after a brief hiatus. Ive built both the 40 and 60 Tigers and love them. I just purchased a Tiger 2 kit on EBAY but it is missing the plans and instructions. I downloaded the manual, but have no way to get the plans. With Hobbico's recent bankruptcy, I'm unable to order the plans from them. Seems Horizon's buy out didn't include the Great Planes piece...
Anyone have any old plans they could sell me, or that I could at least get scanned and return?
Thanks
Curtis

It's since been recovered after this photo was taken.

I also have a Protege .60 ARF, which is essentially the high wing version of the Tiger, and a Tiger 2 ARF. After flying these planes, you can't question the fact that Carl Goldberg was a genius!
That's a great looking airplane!!

Hey Tiger lovers. I was able to arrange to have a set of plans printed (Tiger 2) from HEMIKILLER (here on this site).
$14 folded, $18 rolled.
