First, I'm new to gas engines. I just got a brand new Zenoah G38 and noticed that the movement in the carb linkage is sideways. The problem is that servo connections are the push - pull type. How can you connect the carb to the servo when their movements are perpedicular to each other? I'm building a Dynaflyte Super Decathlon and this issue stop me on my tracks. Any suggestions?

I have never seen the easy link but if there is an easy way to set up carb linkage then it's worth the price. Linkage is always a problem from plane to plane and each engine is different. With my Zenoha's and other brands I use a lot of different things like U-control bell cranks and make up my own system. My Brison came with a very nice system already made up and installed using hime joints and a type of turn buckle so you get a straight pull. That I can post photos of. Making up linkage is a brain twister but if you use wire you can get very creative.

Try this, You will need to use the linkage as shown to get the correct angle using a bellcrank and some ball links. Also it is helpful if your radio has a throttle curve to help make the response more linear on the stick.

Thanks a lot for your help. The picture and suggestion gave a better idea on what to look for and "how to do it". I've been a modeler for many years and a pure kit builder but never went for the "big ones". Guys like you make this website our top reference guide for anything R. C.

I believe you can get a different spacer for the carb that will help move it in a little too. I don't have the g38, but people say it is the easiest to start gas engine they ever had. I do have a 62 and a 26.

Graybeard I miss spelled Horizon in my early post they hav an easy link adapter for all there Zenoah eng. .they are great . it mounts the carb so you have a straight connection

Use the easy link carb adapter to rotate the carb for a better linkage alignment .
