Lanier Staudacher Build
Hello everyone,
I thought maybe I would share some photos of the kit I'm building. This is the second kit that I will have built. The first one was a GP Extra 300 that I still need to cover. I don't know how much of a build thread this will be but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. Just to give a little background on myself, this was my second year of flying. I have been bit by the bug pretty bad since I now own almost a dozen planes with most of them being gassers.
This is a very huge kit and it has foam core wings. I'm a little nervous to start them because i need to do more research on how to sheet them. I decided to start on the tail feathers and Fusealge first.

When the time comes I would be happy to help you through your sheeting, I have sheeted many wings utilizing epoxy, Gorilla glue, and even 3M NF-30 contact adhesive.

Thanks for the help and I will take you up on your offer. I would like to use Gorilia glue on them since I have it on hand. I'm going to try and start working on them in a couple of weeks.

RE: Lanier Staudacher Build
Made some more progress today. I got the LG mount installed and the bottom of the fuse sheeted. I got the formers and stringers in the turtle deck and started on the front hatch. I'm going to try and get the front hatch and turtle deck sheeted this week, since I have to go back to work tomorrow it will be slow going until next weekend.
