Default HAVE YOU USED ULTRCOTE LITE????

I recently covered a small 5oz balsa rc kit with Solite. I always use Ultracote for my larger kit builds but used Solite since it was sold by the kit builder and I didn't have to place an additional order to Horizon for covering. Solite is like working with Saran wrap with a tacky adhesive on one side. A PITA would be an understatement. I'm considering another small plane build and was curious if anyone has experience using Ultracote Lite compared to the other liight weight covering available for very small planes.

I used some Ultracote lilte transparent red on a small glider. It seemed to go on well and I didn't dislike it.

Currently using ultra on a Endecker 42" ws. Seems to work fine. Watch your temp. Setting on your iron. I cooked an edge on my rudder. And had to redue.

And May All Your Landing be smoooooth!

I've used Ultracote Lite and it works well. Dust the sticky side of the Solite with baby powder or talc and it is a lot easier to handle. Sticks just as well when heat is applied. Smells springtime fresh, too.....
