Sorry the pictures don't show, don't know what I'm doing wrong. have the horizontal and verticle stabilizers and the basic box of the fuse all framed. parts F-12 did not come from National Balsa with the arch cut. I will see if I can get some help with the pictures

RE: Hostetler Stinson SR10 Build
finally able to down load pictures,The pictures show the1/4" sq balsa I added to the lengh of the fuse,as recomended by Wendel Hostetler. I also added X supports to prevent torsion twist in fuse, These supports will also give me a place to support the elevtor push rod tubes. the elevator servos will be mounted between F5 and F6. I plan on doing some detail work in the cabin, pictured are the start of the seats. I plan on making a dash, my insrameents from I Fly Tallie arived yesterday, they look great. also pictured is the Zenoah ZP80 motor. Does anyone know the main differance between a SR10 and SR8 Is the top of the fuse differant? Also any ideas on making a scale tail wheel.

Well took a 4 month break from building and RC in general. Dusted off the plans and organized my shop to get at it again. Hope to have some progress photos in the upcoming weeks.

I'd love to see your build, congrats on the new addition to your family. I'm expecting my first in January so my build time will be reduced a bit too. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to build next. Two of the finalists are the Hostetler Mr. Mulligan and an Ikon N'wst Stinson SR8. I'd love to see your Hostetler build.

great to see some more action on this thread, I thought it had died. was able to get more build time in this summer then I thought I would. Framing is about 90% done, have converted it to an SR-8. will try and post some pictures soon.

Well after a 5 year absence from RC I am back. I plan to begin working on the Stinson again. Hope to post an update once I get my shop in order for RC again...
