Question Giant Aeromaster kit build question.

OK, all you old timers! I'm finishing off a old GP Giant Aeromaster bipe kit for a guy. The plans show the CG at 3-1/4in from the leading edge, bottom wing. BUT he came up with a GP "news flash" that says the CG should be 2 1/2 in back, the manual was wrong! BUT it's for the "ARF" version they had a few years back. The ARF was probably built a lot lighter than the old "lead-sled" kit, SO should I stick with what the original kit plans call for?? Would appreciate some advice from someone who has had experience with the old kit version. Thanks a bunch!
