Gray shirt with the above logo with Brotherhood underneath.

Dagnabit! I intended to take those old broken letters off that hangar before the fly-in, but didn't get around to it. Now you want to put it on a t-shirt! I hope not.

That's not a SIG hangar anymore. Several years ago Hazel gave the hangar (which at one time housed Glen Sig's Beechcraft Bonanza) to a local flyer, who hasn't done a lick of maintenance on it since - as you can see. This is a sore subject at the field, but not one we need to discuss here.

That is still SIG's current, and only ever, logo. I appreciate your good intentions to make a SIG Brotherhood t-shirt, but I hope you won't use that photo. I don't like the message it sends.

I will give our permission to use our good logo on a SIG Brotherhood shirt, as long as it is in good shape. Happy to provide artwork of the logo.

Mike

Well in that case, I will certainly abide by your wishes. I just liked the way it looked on a gray background. If you will allow me to put your good logo on a shirt I will see what they will cost to make a batch for our Brotherhood as a group buy, if that is OK by SIG.

acdii, yes it lands hard. There is no weight I can take off the nose and moving the battery back to next available area will make it quite tail heavy. So it looks like I will be adding lead to the tail.

Welcome to our Norwegian friend! Here is how you join: First you ask, which you just did, and in a little while Skylark flyer will come along and assign you a member number.

So tell us, what SIG airplanes do you have and do you have any pictures? We love pictures here! Feel free to brag about your SIG airplanes too! There are also brotherhoods for Cubs and SIG Kadets on this board too, so join away.

Looks good what engine have you got in it? Is that Bright Yellow Oracote? I also built the 1/5 Cub mine is powered by an old Saito .80 and is covered in Bright Yellow Oracote.

Very nice! One of my favorite models. This is the 3rd season for mine; Koverall & dope, Nelson Hobby Specialties paint. Flies like a kit, really makes me use the rudder... good for the skills haha. Such a sweet touch'n'go machine

Keep at it, and let us know hot the Maiden goes

Rv7Garage: beautiful plane you got there. The finish on mine is not as nice as yours but the plane is straight and true and built with love and care so I hope the maiden goes well

I don't know, I think you're doing a very nice job myself. The fillet where the vertical stab joins the fuse is nice and clean- looks good to me!

I have a Somethin' Extra kit in the box that might get built soon. I'm hankering to put a Saito .82 in the nose and have me some fun

WOW! That's an impressive Cub, no doubt about that. Hey, larscato, welcome to the SIG Brotherhood!!! Gotcha logged in with #119.

Geez, looking at all the new Cubs around here, I definitely need to dump my old GP Cub-.40 and get a new SIG one - they're so much nicer.

Hey y'all, here's the SIG Brotherhood, as I've got it today:

On mine I moved the fuel tank to the CG position, and the elevator servo is in the tail. With the DLE20 and 2 battery packs in the nose I still needed nose weight to counter the tail servo.

On that Cub, Looking good. I have mine still in Doping stage. I am not doing so well seems like it just sucks up the dope, so I don't know what I am doing wrong. Its my first Koverall and Dope job.

Larscato & RV7. Great looking cubs.

L for for a first kit you've obviously been meticulous and it shows.

RV the color choice is my fav combo that I used on my first kit years ago. Engine is sweet - nothing like a Saito twin on a Cub.

Count me in on a T. I will prepay through paypal when you're ready. Thanks Mike for the approval. Will be good advertising at the local fields and hobby shops. The one LHS here that is a dealer keeps very little inventory. The other huge LHS would be a better dealer. The owner (who I buy just about everything from and probably has a Million + in inventory) said he would gladly be a dealer when I told him I was ordering direct teasing him. LOL. Oh. I wish you guys would come out with a Kadet wing kit w flaps and ailerons. Be worth the kit price $100 or so to me to have that 'add on' available. Ard wing when teaching and flap wing for me. :-).

Lost 2 weeks w this darn spider bite than kicked my azz. Had planned on spending that time building and flying my new Kadet SR.

Mike, I remember meeting you a couple seasons ago at Blue Max club field in Palatine, IL. I'm glad to see that you and the other owners have picked the SIG brand up and dusted it off a bit, while still keeping the spirit of the company intact. Thank you!

Now as for the shirts- please, please can I have one that looks like the old barn + faded logo? That would be a seriously hip shirt I would buy one for my little guy as well.

Small logo front left breast and large on back. I think it's an awesome idea. My Daughter wants one. She's impressed with accomplished women like Hazel.

Mike, if you pull that logo off, pack it in a box and send it to me with the T-clips when it comes in, I would love to put it on my shop wall!

You and everyone else on this thread! Maybe Mike can raffle it off to raise money to paint the hanger?

Um, yeah. I think more than a few of us would be willing to give unreasonable things that we probably shouldn't live without for that logo. It's not like Glenn and Hazel had a personal hangar everywhere with their logo hanging on it. I'd love to see the inside of that hangar too.

I'd like to join the Brotherhood, if I may.

I've built the Bravo and both Spacewalkers. A Kadet Senior Sport is scheduled to be delivered today.

Nice birds Tom! If I didn't know you better I would say the wheel pants were on backwards on the Bravo. I'm sure it's as designed they just looked a little pointy in front.

Absolutely, Tom!! Welcome to the SIG Brotherhood - was wondering when you'd be dropping in. Gotcha all logged in with #120, and we're ready for your debut in the SIG Kadet B'hood too, whenever you're ready.

Hey Mike - That Bravo's perfect - exact to specs. - - hmmm, not sure whether that pic will come out or not. Guess we'll find out when I hit "Submit".

Here's the fast-growing SIG Brotherhood, as I've got it today:

Hey Mike - That Bravo's perfect - exact to specs. - - hmmm, not sure whether that pic will come out or not. Guess we'll find out when I hit "Submit".

Nice looking airplane I wish they still offered a kit of this airplane. I may need to start watching for one.
