Loved it, there is no bad video when it comes to airplanes. I'm a little biased though, I have Juuuust a few on my utube account BigTeeEldorado, I think the link in my signature works . I'll shamelessly insert one here:

They are still working on their licence. The instructor says probably another 40 or so hours before they are ready for a check ride!! Then ya, I bet I could find a plane for them too!!

Hey guys! Got a quickie question. I seem to remember someone, somewhere, mentioning a company/person who recreates foam cores for wings. I've got a guy that just got an old SIG KBRC-6 Mustang and the cores are there but beat up.

Anybody know?

Please add me to the Sig Brotherhood. I have a Kadet Senior ARF/OS 70 FS, a 4-Star 60 ARF with a Super Tigre .75, a 4-Star 64 ARF (yet to be assembled), a Kadet kit from several years ago, a 4-Star 60 kit, and probably a few other kits I've forgotten about but are sitting patiently in my basement crawl space. My Kadet Senior ARF is the best trainer I ever had, with which I plan on teaching my two boys how to fly RC, and my 4-Star 60 ARF is the best sport plane I've ever had, and I'm just about to recover the fuselage in new Monokote to replace the old stuff that started to peel off after a few years of steady use.

If anyone is going to Toledo this weekend, SIG has a booth there. I will be there Friday and Saturday, first time for the kids, so will be interesting to see how long they can last.

Hey Brotherhood! SIG has a new kit in the works, first one in 30 years. Its a BIG one.

Its HUGE. a 14' wing span Rascal! Not only that, its a real kit, not an ARF. Its not laser cut, its not die cut, its CNC routed out of lite plywood.

It's not cheap though, but considering the size of it, and its SIG quality, its well worth the cost. They are taking preorders now at the RC show, so I dropped a down payment on one. Its an easy assemble kit in that it has built in locking tabs and wedges, and just now realized I never took a picture of the production fuse. It uses two servos in the tail for the rudder and elevator, so no long pushrods, just long extensions. Its all webbed for rigidity, and you assemble it all with the wedges and lock it all together before you apply a drop of glue, very well designed. The wing is 3 sections, the center is 6' long, and there are the tips at about 4' each, 4 servos in the wings for ailerons and flaps. The tail can be attached with bolts so it fits in a minivan. It can fit in my truck with its 5.5' bed by sticking the tail through the rear window, but the wing center section I am unsure of due to its width, so it might be a trailer haul for me, but the average minivan can haul it around with ease.

Its big, its a kit and its a SIG. Oh and Hazel was there yesterday as well, and she was quite well swarmed by fans.

Impressive, I assume it takes a 100-120cc gas or for extra fun throw in a 150cc.

50-60CC. Its big, but its also very light wing loading. The larger ARF Rascal is only about a 1.20 size plane, and its about 10' span.

It must be real light. both my Hempel Cub with a 12' span and my AW Carbon Cub with a 14" span take a 100-120cc. At the very least I think I personally would use a 85.

I had started a thread on this in the kit builder area.. sounds like the kit is $900... Limited run , taking pre-order I guess...
