I need to join. I was at Toledo today with RCKen and the other RCU guys. I should have introduced myself acdii but I didn't want to interrupt. I have a Sig flight box and a 4*60 that is all framed up, just needs covering, radio, and engine. I've also built 2 Sig Fazers. I am going to be buying one of the new Somethin' Extra ARFs when available and do electric...for a general fun flying airplane, to warm up before I get the big ones out. Am I 94?

Skylark and Flyer you guys are too kind, thank you and there must be more Sig planes out there, I would like to see some of them, not a bunch of guys signing up showing nothing.

I've owned and flown more sig planes over the years than I can count... I suppose I should put in for a number (I'm sure I'll be at the sig fly-in this June too)
we DID get together at the Sig Booth at Toledo today! here are the members and the great folks at sig for a Photo Op.

I've owned and flown more sig planes over the years than I can count... I suppose I should put in for a number (I'm sure I'll be at the sig fly-in this June too)
we DID get together at the Sig Booth at Toledo today! here are the members and the great folks at sig for a Photo Op.

OOPS!
I knew something was happening that I forgot about. Other things took precedence to a trip to Toledo this year, but I am pretty sure I recognize 2 or 3 folks in that photo.

Well I am back from Toledo, and what a great bunch of guys. Got to meet Bob, Herb, Mike, Ken, and a few others. Bob talked my ear off about his Bugati 100P, hopefully I can make the fly-in this June. Here's the link to the Fly-in information. Thanks Skylark for keeping the list up to date.
The T-Clips 70 is such a nice looking plane that I bought one, even though I am not an ARFie. The covering job on the display is so neat and clean, and the assembly is fantastic. The Rascal 110 is also a very nice plane, though it was way high up so only got to see the belly, but the covering also looks clean and crisp, something to strive for in my own builds. Rumor has it, the Rascal 110 may come out as a kit, hoping it wont be a rumor soon, looks like it would make a really nice build considering how nice the 1/5th Cub with the laser cutting has been.
FYI I am bad with names, and completely forgot who else from RCU was there with Ken, on the tip of my tongue, but was great to meet all of you guys. I am drawing a blank on who is holding the T-clips, though the name is floating in my head somewhere!

For those that feel there aren't enough airplane pictures posted here, I agree. So here are a couple of shots of my reliable SIG 1/6th scale clippedwing Cub, taken this afternoon. I just pulled it out of storage and returned it to flyable status last week after letting it rest as a ceiling hanger for 5 years and 5 days. It still flies as good as it ever did and actually survived to fly again another day

Hello. Please add me to the brotherhood. I've had an LT25, LT40, a number of Kadet Sr's both kit and ARF, and a 4Star 120.
Also I was born in a similar small town in IA as Montezuma.

Thanks Rv7. The paint scheme was one of those things that just kindda evolved on it's own. I never did have a layout in my head, just where ever the monokote would lay down well. I just added the stripe down the side last week, after almost 9 years with just numbers on the side. Amazingly it's never been wrecked and recovered, just a few patches here and there. I'll try to get it on floats soon and post some more pictures.

The gathering of the SIG BROTHERHOOD at Toledo was great fun. It was good to put faces to the names we see here. Thank you to RCKEN for coming up with this idea of a meet-and-greet at the SIG booth. It was a last minute effort so we had no idea how many would show up.
I can ID some of the guys in the photo (I talked to everyone in the photo, but if it was the first time we've met I'm bad about remembering names - I usually start to remember about the fourth time we've met).
SIG CEO Herb Rizzo is holding the new green SOMETHIN EXTRA ARF that was debuted at Toledo (also comes in red and white).
Barely visible on Herb's left shoulder, looking sideways, is SIG co-owner Ron Petterec.
Holding the new 70in span T-CLIPS ARF is RCU's own video interviewer/product reviewer Geoff Barber.
Loving the HOG-BIPE kit is RCKEN himself.
Holding the SEALANE kit is another RCU product reviewer and all around great guy Jim Buzzeo. Hmmm ... why would a guy from Minnesota be holding a seaplane?
acdii, are you in the photo?
There were more members of the brotherhood who were at the show on Friday but couldn't stay until the gathering on Saturday, so they are not in the photo.
Thanks to all who came. We will do it again at Toledo 2015.
By the way, here is a link to the upcoming SIG FLY-IN in June .. http://www.iflyherr.com/trans/2014_Sig_RC_FlyIn.pdf

Bob who?
Oh you must mean the Bob that I just spent a week with doing the Toledo Show. He's the tall guy in the yellow shirt in the SIG Brotherhood photo.
We call him "Bugatti Bob". He's scratch built more Bugatti racers than anyone in history. Bob loves the Bugatti, but it doesn't love him. (The sub-title on the SIG FLY-IN flyer should read "Come to the SIG FLY-IN and watch Bob crash another Bugatti" -- sorry Bob, I couldn't resist).
