Have I been missing something or has the SIG 1/5 Anniversary Cub had a big price increase? It is now going for $240.95 only about $5 less the the 1/4 scale Cub. I guess they must have cut some new stock and ot bitten by the high cost of Balsa.

See, now you know what the family has been whispering about behind your back to keep you from over hearing.

I would be in the laughing academy right now if the state hadn't cut funding to mental health. It so had to build airplanes in there they take away all your sharp objects and can you be expected to build without them?!

Hello,
Ref; Call for SIG Ryan STA (kit #27) plans/drawings and instructions
I have inherited a SIG Ryan STA (kit #27) and although I am a relatively experienced aero modeller and because I want to retain the vintage features of the model I urgently require copies the plans/drawings and instructions that accompanied this kit.
It is my intention to build it as faithfully to the original intentions of the man who gave it to me.
Does someone out there have these plans and/or instructions and is willing to extend this favour to me. I am more than willing to pay for the copying, including packing and postage to UK.
I will promise to return originals should anyone be gracious enough to trust me to copy the originals here in UK too.
I trust someone can assist me and more importantly so the man who gave the kit to me can finally see his plane fly.

AHA! Plans and instructions - I can provide SOME of it. Go to http://wanderings-ds.jimdo.com/sig-rc-kits-1-30/ and down toward the bottom of the page is SIGRC27. Instruction book & set-up specs are available for download. I don't have the plan sheet but you might e-mail SIG directly - it's quite possible they have copies. If not, we'll go to plan "B" and ask around the Brotherhood. SOMEBODY has to have them.

NOTE TO ALL: I'm going to be out of town, and out of touch, for the weekend. Got a funeral to go to about 500 miles away (last of my parents' generation - which makes ME "Patriarch" of the family - - sheesh!!!). Will be back Monday.
