I have an original Sig at my dads house in his garage. I’m just not sure if the shape that it’s in.
Im also getting interested in the big scale Super Chipmunk kit that I saw at the ama expo east show. Just need to know if my DA 100cc twin will fit in the cowl. I post a pic of the one I saw.
Frank!

I too am interested in a giant 100cc super chippy, my next build for sure.

This one has a DLE 120 and it fits totally in the cowl. So my DA 100’she fit effect.

Yes, shipped the day I ordered and arrived a couple of days later. I think I will go forward with a sports scale build fun plane on this one.

Hi Chipmunk Brotherhood, I've had several Chipmunks over the years, 3, Goldberg 1, world models and now flying a Great planes and wore them all out and lost one. But I wanted something bigger. And I found one and what I'm told is a Don's Custom Models Super Chipmunk. Wanting to get flying in the new year of 2019. Does any one out there have any plan's, planes or parts? Mine is complete but in need of some repairs that I'm working on now. I need a canopy, this one in ok but scared it may come apart. Is anyone making replacement canopy's? Also need to know the C/G. Thanks for any help. Rick B.

Default Foam Wing on Goldberg Chipmunk

Has anyone used a foam core wing in their Goldberg Chipmunk and if so what did you do to make sure the landing gear is well anchored?

Would anyone happen to know which kit this was built from? G-62 for power, fiberglass fuselage, had a foam core wing, removable tail cone, wing might have been one piece. Thanks

I’m pretty sure it’s a Dons Custom Models. I would have to see the tail cone, looks like it is removable in pics. My kit was missing the tail cone and had to get one made. A guy in the Midwest has Don’s molds and is making them again but it takes him a while. If you change your mind and decide to sell I would like to get it. Rick

You're right. It is removable. Do you know where the balance point is? I'm going to repaint it. Its pretty solid other than the canopy.
