Nice job. Those stick built Sig kits are my favorite.

Thanks again, everybody !

Larry, the graphics are on order. They incorporate some of your suggestions.

Dave, I sprayed Minwax Polyurethane to clear coat an Old Timer, a few years back. The polyurethane showed no ill effects from glow fuel. I believe the stuff to be at least fuel resistant.

Keep in mind that this is the oil based polyurethane, not the waterborne polycryllic. The water based stuff will turn to goo when fuel residue hits it.

Nice to know about the oil based Minwax Polyurethane. How about yellowing? Will it stay nice and clear even over white (I think white would be the worst case scenario)?

The polyurethane yellows noticeably in less than a year. It's most noticeable over white. On darker colors, you shouldn't see any difference.

Nelson Hobbies has a non-yellowing waterborne clear. http://www.nelsonhobby.com/hobby_paint.php

Thanks Guys. I will be checking them out when ever I manage to get my 2 builds to that point. I have heard of nelsons paints and forgot about. Thanks for triggering the memory.

Just waitin' on graphics, Mike.

We lost all of our snow, but we're under Winter Weather Advisories. We'll have up to a foot by Wed. This, of course, means no flying. LOL

I'm back on the Vega, but I'll post pics when I get the graphics applied to the Kadet.

The card reader on my PC has been acting up. This morning, it worked long enough to let me get these pics out of my camera.

The graphics arrives over a week ago. LOL

As usual, my friend Gary, at Decal-it, did a great job. http://www.decal-it.com/ I'm more than pleased with these graphics.

the Graphics really make the Plane Tom. Really great looking SR, And it is transformed into a Golden era looking plane.
Looks like Talle is guarding her chair.

Beautiful! Y'er right - he's done a great job on those graphics. Hopefully, mine will be along some time this winter. I ordered a few and told him no rush - as long as I had 'em by end of May (yeah, seriously, May).

Thanks, guys !

It'll probably be April before I get a chance to do the maiden.

I went to a late-April flyin last year, and there was still some snow on the ground. LOL

The graphics really transform your Sr back in time, Tom. So does the flat wing. The covering/graphics combo is a HIT!

Snow? In April? Gee. I used to have to go to where the snow is, now I have to go to where the snow isn't.

Thanks !

I like the Shell colors, and the graphics seem to change the persomnality of the model.

I shouldn't have any trouble seeing her. That's for sure !

Hey, my likely for sure. Home run Tom. You took relatively common plane and made it a one of a kind. That's the best part of sport scale and fun fly stuff. Being able to do that.

Thanks, Steve !

One of the many reasons that I build, is to make my models different from others at the field. Next Spring, I expect to see several Kadet Senior Sports at my field, but I doubt any of the others will be in Shell livery LOL
