WOW!
I am sure the good builders here such as Tom, Anthony, Vincent, Kevin, and even myself sincerely appreciate such praise. And I think we would agree that we offer our experiences as a thanks to those that came before us, which is where a lot of our abilities came from.
I know my skills were greatly increased due to these things called forums and the generous contributors abroad.

Like many, I can say I owe most, if not all, of my limited knowledge to these forums and the great builders spoke of here. Good stuff, and a great community.

Hears something that may interest some of you, not something you will never see the FAA allow in this country, Red Bull at it's best: www.flixxy.com/budapest-airshow-2014-highllights.htm go full screen for this.

Leroy

Well pooh, it worked on my email, I'll try something else.

Try this: www.flixxy.com/budapest-airshow-highlights.htm and click on Budapest airshow highlights.

"Oh well it works off of RCU, ?

Well Leroy, if you google that link ( http:// www flixxy com/budapest-airshow-2014-highlights ) it comes up just fine... I think the problem has to do with some browsers security settings and the way flixxy has their site set up.

But yeah, I agree with Melchizedek, quite impressive show those Budapestians put on !

Really sad that the US aviation has been squeezed with regulations to the point their are non of this here. In that one segment where there were several bipes at one time I had the thought that "I bet there are not that many bipes in this country much less flyable". The Old type, although if one peruses Airliners.net most all of the aircraft of any type privately owned is overseas.

Its not just the USA Robert. I read on a UK site a year or to back that the EU shutdown the flights of Junker Trimotors used for sightseeing. The EU has regulations limiting how long an airplane can be used for commercial passenger use. The same regulation may also affect certain old warbirds used for demonstration flights. I got to admit I can't complain some of the old Super 80s AA was using when I was traveling were darn right scary to fly in. Seats would be taped off because they or the tray tables were broken, delays due to faulty unavailable parts, etc. I know regulation has a bad name but when it comes to flight full scale or model I believe in erroring on the side of caution. Like the man said there are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots.

I can regulate for myself just fine, in your example I would regulate to not be on or in that aircraft. All regulation is a ploy of those in power to have control of those whom are not. Most have the misconception it is to protect those whom can not protect themselves, but that is a farce. It is for money and power, plain and simple.

Damn straight !... and the powers that be would like to see more of those "whom can not protect themselves", that way it empowers them to assume more power, and greed... the worse thing to do is accept the "status quo"... fight for what is right and what you believe in... I'm a rebel at heart

Hey I was just over there and about laughed my $$$ off. I think my response was quite ample and sums that guy Mark up for what he is. No further comments on the matter however I'm going to make one hell of an airplane out of this less than perfect plane kit.

Happy turkey day fellas, I'm going to enjoy mine.

Just got my power back on as we just had our first heavy snow of the season! I am thankful for many things in my life, one of them are threads like this where I have met and shared experiences and laughter with. Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope I don't get banned for saying this, but way to go Leroy! You sure ruffled some uptight feathers on the BUSA thread. Happy Thanksgiving!

Vincent I hope you guys don't get hammered like last year, that wasn't a good time for a great many of you. I like you also have much to be thankful for, there is just too many things in life not to be, even with a few bumps in the road.

Always nice to see you show up here, your comments are always welcome.

Jeff I would just as soon wish it didn't go that way, there surely was no intent on my part, it's done and over as far as I'm concerned, and I had a great Thanksgiving, thank you.

John_M and Robert thanks for standing in there, I hope we can all put it behind us. There are a whole lot of nice guys over there and we shouldn't let one guy spoil that.

It's back to the plane tomorrow, ribs are made and drilled for the wing tube, just the trailing edge for the flaps to make and I can start the wings building and other things will start to fall in place.

It was not the fact that you were ejected that bugged me so much but rather the manner in which it was done. RCU in and of it self is a brotherhood of sorts and we stick together for our brothers even if one is showing himself.

Its all good Leroy... RCKen's got it all sorted out... I think Mark just really enjoys BalsaUSA's kits, and may have overreacted... they do make some fine looking old timer 1900's biplane kits; their 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup, looks very detailed... I'm not one for that particular class of aircraft, but as stated it was a period of literally the beginning of aviation we have today.
