Good luck with the move,
I hate moving, the last time I moved was 2000, I built a home on my property where I was living in a mobile home, backed the truck up to the MH and threw stuff in and pulled the 50ft to the back door of the house and threw it in. Funny thing was I emptied a 14x70 MH into a 2 story house with a full basement and managed to fill up the house. Had stuff packed away in every imaginable space.

Later!!

Vince, moving is a fate worse than death, I hope it goes smoothly for you and I know you will enjoy the new place. See you when you get back we'll all be waiting with baited breath.

Why we wanted to eat bait I have no idea but....

Just wanted to give you an update. Had last week off and I spent every day going back and forth delivering furniture and boxes to my new place. I have moved my last box today! That's the good news, the bad news is, now I have to unpack all those boxes and put stuff away. Oh what a mess I have here. Glad to be going back to work, which will seem like a vacation!

Oh, the thought of moving all my stuff is not a pleasant one.
And you have done it twice in a short period.

I hope your road back to a ship shape home and shop is a quick one.

VJ,
I spent 21 years in the Air Force and moved quite a bit. It was always a hassle but we made it through. You will too. Hurry up will ya? We need some more updates.
Take care and enjoy your new home.

Yes Kevin I have...moving is a young man's sport. I hope to stay here a while. Moving my shop was the hardest part, not to mention moving during a build. I hope I didn't leave anything important behind!

Frank, that must of been hard on you and your family doing all that moving... I'll take some pics of what will become my new shop, now what box did I pack that camera...

Get settled in, VJ. The build will be there when you have the time and inclination to return.

Moving, with the weather you guys in the northeast are suffering through, had to be a Herculean endeavor. I'm glad that you have your stuff moved. Maybe it's tme for a short break, and do some relaxing.

I'm going to just hang out and tinker with mine while you get setup to tinker with yours. I don't know anyone that likes moving especially us older guys and your not a spring chicken any more, I guess the main thing is to not hurt yourself so take it easy and take care at the same time.

In some ways the unpacking is worse than the packing it always seemed to take twice as long for me. Packing at least give you an opportunity to clean out any unwanted items if you have the time.

Tom, I think I'll heed your advice. I do need a bit of a break, I just hate knowing I have an unfinished build on my table...

Flyer, unpacking is always an experience, as you'll never know what's in each box. A woman would have each box neatly packed and labeled, me I just threw stuff in till the box was full!

Leroy, I think you just called me old...LOL

Not old just well used and you pack like an old guy, ha ha ha. Not being a spring chicken doesn't mean you can't be a cocky rooster. I better go now.

I hope that you are better at unpacking than I am. I still have a couple of boxes that I haven't unpacked since I was reassigned from Germany, too many years ago to mention.

Question: Are you aware of a digital copy of the manual for the Bravo? I am interested in control rigging, C.G., initial setup, etc.

Has anyone tried using the Bravo to tow gliders? My son is a glider enthusiast and I thought that this might be an opportunity to combine our interests.

I have removed the covering from the wing of my project and "enjoying" how someone else solved problems, i.e. crash repairs, gap fillers, etc. It is entertaining for sure. I will begin the fuselage in a few days.

Thanks, Dave

I'm not really sure, but I think that one of them has a couple of old uniforms, boots and maybe military records. The other box is a mystery. It probably contains more military clothing, awards and such. We are going to try to sell our house this year and move closer to the kids. So, it might be time to open those boxes, before I move them again.

Hi Cliff, yes, I'm still here. Thanks for asking. I'm still painting and ripping up carpets...still no time to get into the basement. Warmer weather is starting to poke its head out from time to time, so that means flying weather is not far behind. I'm seeing a lot of TV advertisments about fertilizing your lawn now for a greener healthier spring lawn. Up here we still can't see the lawn as it's still covered in snow! In fact, it's snowing now as I am typing this.

I'll trade projects, I just ripped out a built in shower with walls made of 1 to 2 inches of concrete over spread metal. Naturally the concrete stuck to insulation of the outside walls ruining it and the I discovered a drain leak that ruin 3 of the 2X4s, the plate of the doorway, and required replacing the drain. Did i mention the pipe was good old caste iron to boot? Almost as much fun as hitting my own hand with a sledgehammer repeatedly.
