Now is the time to test her. Honey I need to finish my airplane before the wedding You dog you, staying silent all this time. Way to go! I wish I had such good news, our club is loosing it's lease on the field at the end of the year.

Our landlord passed away 2 years ago and now the daughter has taken control of the land and she does not want us there any more because she lives near by. We are in the middle of 150 acres but she wants it all. So she will not renew our lease at the end of the year.

My bestest congratulations Vincent!! Just remember though, marriage is the only institution that will put you in an institution (and that - from a guy that's been institutionalized for 46+ years).
#386
Heck I thought you were already married, it took you long enough to corral that women, I bet she puts a smile on your face when you put that ring on her finger but she's been doing that for awhile now. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy Vincent, a new paved road to travel, how sweet it is.
My best to the both of you.

Just wanted to chime in and also give you my congats. I wish you many years of joy and happiness. I started reading your build while I was deployed in Afghanistan and was just lurking and learning. We had a crappy server so getting on the Internet was a pain. I hope your move turns out better then mine. While in Afghanistan, I was told that our program was ending and field service was being downsized. I ended up being one of the lucky ones but had to move to Fayetteville, NC. What a nightmare, they lost furniture, broke furniture, we bought a brand new home and they gauged and smudge the walls and worst of all they crushed to tail on my Ultimate. They paid for everything except the model I been there for three of your builds and waiting for you to return to this one but take care of the homework first (not just the house ) and see ya later.

Well that sucks maekju! ere you able to repair the Ultimate? My son was medically retired from FT. Carson last year. I happened to be visiting when his orders came thru so we rented a truck and I drove most of his stuff and pulled his wife's car on a trailer. Would it kill U-Haul to have cruse control on their trucks?! His wife and the baby followed with my wife in my SUV. He elected to move himself thinking we would tear up a lot less! Several guys from his platoon showed up to help move they were a blessing! He finally left two weeks after us with his pick up pulling a trailer with the motorcycles and the last of his stuff.

Mike,
Looks like I can repair the Ultimate. I was planning on doing a recovering job anyway, those flames were wearing on me. I spent two years at Carson working at Butts Army Airfield. During the 30 years on this job I've moved about 15 times, some international. This is my last one, I'm retiring in 8 months. Got a some kits and lots of plans to keep me busy. Now if VJ would return so I can get some more lessons.

Well, looks like this project has gone Into suspended animation for deep space flight. I hope you are all enjoying getting ready for the holiday season and visions of new projects are dancing in your head. Our club has officially lost our field and we will hold our annual New Year Flyin on the 31st. Looks like my projects will go on hold so I can research places to establish a new field, as I have been appointed the point man for the club. Merry Christmas to all of you, and a blessed New Year to come.

Too bad about the field Cliff, any prospects for a new flying site?
So many home improvement projects that I'm dealing with at the moment , so unfortunately the build has to take a back seat. Wedding is coming up soon and I'm excited about that as well.
Haven't forgotten about my build or any of you guys...and to take Cliffs lead Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah to you all.
