I brought this kit a few months ago and want to start building it this winter.Hoping someone who built this kit can help me out.Question is the 1st step of building the wing is to pin the wing jig where indicated on the plans. I do not see a wing jig in the kit and I do not know what it is suppose to looks like. If I do not have the jig how can I make sure that I build the wing straight,, Thanks in advance !!!

I built this model years ago. It's pretty but be advised, it will turn out heavy.

Like you, I wondered about the wing jig. I spoke with the designer and he told me to make some tapered pieces of 1/4" balsa that will hold the ribs parallel to the board.

The plans show zero dihedral. I questioned that and started to add some. Wish I had. The plane had very bad adverse yaw to roll coupling. Worst knife edge I've ever seen on a supposed aerobatic airplane.

Engine estimates were also optimistic. I put a 1.08 in mine, more than was recommended, and it was anemic at best. It needs lots more power than that.

I know this is an old post. But I got a Ohio Models 69” span Sukhoi at an estate sale. I was wondering if anyone knows the CG. It doesn’t show it on the plans or instruction book.

Nothing special CG wise on the Suk. Set to 30% of the MAC and go fly. All the Ohio stuff flies really well.
