Hi,

I am looking for a cowl replacement for the GP Super Skybolt kit version. Three sites that I have found, list the cowl as replacement for the ARF version of the model.
Does anyone know where I can find the cowl for the kit version?

Alternatively does anyone know if the ARF version will fit the kit model? Can a owner of the ARF model measure the width, height and length of the ARF model around the firewall?

Any info will be appreciated.

I have Fiberglass Specialties cowl and wheel pants on mine. Perfect fit and much nicer than the ABS stuff that came with the kit.

Unfortunately Fiberglass Specialties shipping rate to Europe is around 50 USD. So 80$ for a cowl is getting too steep for me.
Any other alternatives?

Great Planes does have the ABS cowl parts available, but shipping is likely
to be very high to Europe:

COWL010 $17.91

Being that they are 2 pieces shipping may be less than the Fiberglass Specialties one.

I thought Tower had the parts of the specific brand.
I tried to search for the cowl at the Hobbico site but it came up empty.

I will email Derek and ask him anyway.
