Top Flite Giant P-47 reno scheme
I know there are a few build threads on the top flite giant P-47,so I am going to skip all the basic building stuff.
I have been building this plane for the last 2-21/2 yrs when time allowed. building it per top flites instructions.
leaving guns and all plastic items off the exterior. will have full interior cockpit with pilot. retracts are robarts converted to
electric. power will be a DLE-55 with onboard starter. plane is glassed with 3/4 oz cloth and z-poxy finishing resin. primed
and painted. scheme will be my version of a reno racer. something different. I'm at the point where I am installing
all electronics and setting up servos and linkages.servos are hi-tech 5645mg so I can program them, which lets me use a
regular y harness on flaps and ailerons. using Rcexl opti kill switch on ignition.onboard starter and controller is from mile high r/c.engine is installed along with tank, fuel lines and throttle servo.

Not to get off topic, but the other night I was looking through my 2016 Tower Hobbies catalog, which I admit I haven't spent much time with. On the page for Top Flite's P47's. they went into much praise and hoopla about how wonderful they are. Immediately to the right of the description was a picture of a P51.
