Default Best film covering at this point in time?

I am getting ready to build an Sig 4-star 20 that I am going to put lights inside the framework. This means I will be forced to use a film covering, which I generally avoid like the plague. I used to like Monokote, but it is not the same, and in particular the red transparent. Transparent is want I want, as I want the lights inside the plane as I will be using this as a night flier.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I don't normally use film covering. The last project was a RC Guys Decathlon that I needed to recover. Someone recommended Hobby King, their price was great 15 ft for $12.99. They were out of what I wanted, I don't use Hobby King anyway. On RCU forum another suggested Value Hobby.com, said they have the same covering as H K, but listed as Neucover 15 ft. at $12.99. I have used them a lot so I knew they were a good company, I just never looked all their stuff.
I didn't know if I could match the paint for the cowl, wing tips & wheel pants so I ordered a roll of Black, Red and 2 rolls White. It is easy to work with and it look great. They do have transparant, but they are out of RED but they do have other Transparent colors. Yellow or blue may work for you. You can't beat the price.

It is holding up well.

Thanks Rich,

I saw the stuff on the HK website, and it looks like they have the colors I want. I covered a Sr. Kadet a few years back with Monokote transparents, and they were terrible. Now I have been using that stuff for around 30 years. It is not the same. The red especially would not shrink. I got it to look good in the end, but applied it know it would not shrink and pulled it really tight while applying it. I will probably try the HK stuff, as I do not need a lot, and it is worth a shot. Funny how those big complicated warbirds are actually easier to finish, as I do not use that plasticrap kote anymore.
