Hi all,just wondering if anyone has ever completely sheeted the senior I will be installing floats and will be flying off of Lake Superior and can get rough at times looking to beef it up but don't want to add excessive weight..any suggestions out there .Cheers

I have seen them sheeted. In fact I have one now that is light ply back to the back of the cabin area..It has a BIG DROP BOX instead of the windows. The Senior will carry 10 pounds of payload in competitions...If I remember correctly.

Interesting idea! I lived in Duluth from 1968-1971; I think having a bit more power available would be just about as important; thing is, you will begin to weigh it down with extra sheeting but the sheeting will surely add strength. I think maybe stronger covering would be the solution if you want to make it stronger; maybe I should ask what is your reason for adding extra sheeting in the first place rather than assuming I know why you want to change a perfectly good airplane for landing and taking off of something a little smoother than an angry ocean?
