Default Biplane Wizard Sterling

Hello. I bougth biplane wizard sterling kit last month by ebay. The kit is very very old. The construction it is fine. Who knows year when it was sold first time ? Thanks for your answer.

There is a pretty big thread on Sterling models over in the Golden Age, Vintage and Antique column in this forum. There are copies of the plans out on the net. From looking at them I would guess that the kit was introduced back in the mid 1960s. The radio shown on the plans is a Citizenship 8 channel (the old radios needed two channels for each function). Some of these models were really more of a radio assisted free flight but you can shave off quite a bit of weight just in using modern radio components.
