Default Installing a Zenoah G26 on a Sig Cub

I'm thinking of retrofitting a Zenoah G26 to my Cub but noticed the engine's back plate is larger than the firewall (at the top) when I place the engine in the correct position.

Has anyone done this installation and what was your solution to this?

Thanks!

I had a G26 in a SIG cub some years ago. If I recall correctly, there was dead space between the top of the firewall and the top of the cowl. I simply added wood to the top of the firewall to capture the top 2 bolts of the engine mount. The G26 was a good match for the cub but the carb did stick out of the side of the cowl. I subsequently changed out the G26 for an OS 1.60 twin, mainly for the sound and a better scale look.
